He is, but you'd be due us a fair whack of compensation for him. He's been offered a contract and he's only 21, he's been here over 5 years as well so I can't imagine it'd be anything less than £200k given his goal scoring record and potential

I don’t think we will go for him but £200k is typical fantasy fan numbers.

more likely you’d buy out his contract which will be nowhere near £4ka week

He’s a talented player who deserves the step up.  Most of our team could be playing at Championship level, Frizzell among them.  Picked up a few awards at the end of the season - I’ve no doubt Murray would like to take 2 or 3 players with him to Fife.  Frizzell being one of them.  Think Easton will be there too

    Any decent defenders ?

The thing about him toiling at Christmas was that he rectified things in January and got it bang on. It was his best attribute, to acknowledge an issue and solve it. He had good game management, something McGlynn was lacking in, it seemed like we would always go and score after he made a couple of subs.

    Game management ?

we lost a 3 goal lead at Dumbarton, and toiled against losing late goals most of the early part of that season

Really don’t see why you are bothered by this. The majority of you quite rightly wanted him hounded out after the Goodwillie saga but seemed to quickly change your tune after the cup win.

Spot on, although the cup win changed nothing for me.

If he goes hopefully our CEO will leave along with her husband.

These posts about hooking kids in are bang on the money. At that age, seeing a team winning something is a huge deal and it won't matter to them whether it's the Scottish Cup or the Challenge Cup. They can go to school and tell their friends who support the ugly sisters or Man City or Liverpool or whoever, that not only have they also seen their team win something, they've seen it in the flesh and possibly even had pictures taken with the players after the match.

Not many of them will be able to compete with that.

Agree with the points about the kids.

My 14 year olds 2nd cup final, he really got hooked after the 1st.

Club should be going big style getting merchandise out, get cup winners printed on everything in the shop.

Fucking odd guy seriously you're the arsehole mentioning Harold Shipman in a conversation about the Raith board. Let's look closer at home your man Masterton what would you class him as. Rotten to the core I would say, taking millions and putting businesses out of business. That's not bad judgement.

We have some horrible fans. Does anyone really think that any of our board a bad people? Does anyone think any of our board are at the club to make personal gain? Does anyone think they are on the board as they want to make a slight difference to how the club is run not just for now but in the future.

I have it on good authority someone previously connected to the club that Sim whats to leave a legacy, he wants to put things in place at the club so they aren't sufficient in only gate receipts and handouts. He has no interest in taking anything back when he calls it a day. He is prepared to spend 2 mil of his own money to do this. You can choose to believe that he has other intentions but all these folk running our club are not crooks, their not in it to get money out of the club. Please be careful what you wish for as we could end up with Glasgow gangsters back in charge.

A great legacy would be a track record of listening to your customers.

No one will make money out of football at this level, and if anyone thinks they can, they are off their trolley.

I can honestly say that if I played for Ayr, I would be celebrating every goal I scored in front of opposition fans. Maxwells noising up of the Raith fans makes zero sense but maybe he’s just practicing for Friday.

Perhaps taking advantage  of there being home fans at Starks Park.

I feel for the opposition players scoring at the end in a few weeks, with no one to cup their ears to.
