Calum Ferrie was probably the only person at Hampden that didn’t know Millen was going to Panenka that penalty

In a world where Liam Dick exists, this is an insane take.
Most under rated player in our squad by a mile.
Seems almost universally hated as he wasn’t Kieran Macdonald.

Is Frankie even in the Zambia squad ?

Look at the players we've got on the park and it's no surprise that set pieces aren't our strong suit. It was particularly apparent on Tuesday night.
Morton had Jack Baird, Kirk Broadfoot, Tyler French as a back three, Iain Wilson in midfield, and George Oakley and Robbie Muirhead up front. All six of those are 6 foot plus, big units who'll win headers all day if you let them.
We've got Euan Murray. If you want to stretch it, Liam Dick and Scott Brown are fine in the air, but to borrow a phrase from Euan Murray himself, they're not meatheads. Even if Keith Watson is still out, just having Jack Hamilton on the park to dig in at set pieces would be a huge help.
It's just a reality of the squad we've got. You can't be all things at all times, and we're understandably vulnerable at set pieces at the time being.
Ross Millen is probably one of our tallest outfield players, but the shitest in the air.

Happy with the win, been a long time since I’ve seen us win at there.
Josh Mullin could have been bagging a hatrick last night, hit the bar, delayed a shot from Vaughan cut back, and then ruining a breakaway by running off side.
lots of praise for Vaughan’s running and effort, but a fair few times his choice of option was poor, could have been fatigue, but if you’re taking the ball into the corner you have to get something out of it.
Shaun Byrne btw, different level

We are almost always shite through at Cappielow. I'd be delighted with a draw.
Last time I saw us win there Dalziel broke Willie Penman’s goal scoring record.
tickets say open terrace, but we’re usually in the stand

Signed up for Club1883.
Big up the mighty. Any idea uptake so far?
Think I’m still in the Premier Club from 1992 and the Platinum Club from 2005.

Just received the below email from the club about Club 1883 (surprised its not on twitter/website yet). I was one who cancelled the Supporters Fund in protest in January 2022. I said I would re-join if new leadership came in and am delighted they are relaunching a similar scheme so I can do so. Good to see that the money is ringfenced again, too. Also I know its not the be all and end all but its a much better name! Another good move by the new leadership and hopefully another extra boost to get the club moving in the right direction
We are proud to launch Club 1883, a subscription-based supporters' fund that not only provides you with a comprehensive range of benefits but also plays a crucial role in supporting our strategy for the growth of the Football Club.

Don’t see much of an incentive to upgrade from the £12 to the £20
still signed up for the gold though

The singing section is undoubtedly a good idea but having it at the opposite end of the stadium from the rest of the home fans was always going to be an issue.
It's a tired argument at this stage? Two left footed people can't play at cb, whereas two right footed cbs isn't ever questioned... It's akin to saying people aren't good enough because they are too young, which is definitely not a side of the fence you're known for tx.
Euan Murray is actually as good with his right foot as he is with his left and has played in every position across a rovers defence. One thing I will say, and he admitted it himself when he signed, he does look like he's lost a yard of pace.
What is a yard of pace ?
over what time period is it measured ?
With you on 2 left footed Centre Half’s issue v 2 right footed Centre Half’s

We weren't unlucky, we gave away two soft goals thanks to repeat offenders and have clearly done nothing to try and fix that either through coaching or personnel changes.
We made positive changes at half time and on another day might have won the game. I have left games this season, the Partick and Falkirk games in particular thinking we need a full root and branch rebuild to save our season. Yesterday, Chalmers, Murphy, Reading, the two in midfield and Dowds all had a good game.
Interesting the perspectives on game, I thought the 1st was excellent play by Raith after a wee bit of keep ball.
The sight of us keeping the ball whilst Bullen stood there arms crossed shaking his head was glorious, a return to Hoof ball hot you back in the game

Two ridiculously good goals there from us. Also didn't really appreciate how good Dabrowski's save was.
Loving the boos at the second goal

Big shout to Ayr for keeping everyone in the stand, first time we've had a decent atmosphere down there.
Big call with the lineup, but that first half was superb and the best we've played all season.
Think the rain kept most folk in the stand, from the highlights still a good few in the terrace

Cracking result with 1 Centre half - who then got injured after 5 minutes.

I said that at the time. Probably because the referee had no clue what he was doing.. I was surprised everyone stayed on during the handbags scuffle after McAllister got elbowed in the face as well.
There was no needle in the first half at all but he kept giving free kicks for nothing and ignoring blatant ones.It didn't affect the result at all but seemed to annoy absolutely everyone
Think we all agree the ref was pish

Btw how did that auld boy at Right Back stay on the park ?

Any idea why 20 wee Ayr boys came into the Raith end at half time ?

Would imagine they'll have the enclosure behind the dugout and the stand, sure they had that tail end of last season. Unless you're bring 400+ that's what you will get.
Yeah that’s the area I’m on about.
One of the few grounds where you can watch the game properly and your fired into a seat

Just been on to get tickets, are we not even getting the wee bit of terrace any more ?
Look forward to the geriatric Ayr GIRUY crew winding up our support again
