Is it BBC Scotland policy to describe football results as “big big”?

That first touch from Pepple was Sunday league.

Dabrowski seems to make better saves the less time he has to think about it.

The problem there is Zak Rudden, mostly.
Never before has a tall player looked less likely to win a header.
He’d have a better change of winning headers if his head wasn’t on upside down.

It isn't that simple. If something isn't deemed racist/sectarian etc by the courts I'm not sure how a footballing body can decide it is. If a club/player thinks they are being unfairly treated they are still allowed to go above that body. It's a bit of a minefield to them really but if they were ever to try and clamp down on it.
The Footballing Associations can decide what they want tbh. John Terry was found guilty by the FA after being found not guilty in court. The burden of proof isn’t the same.

Why haven’t you updated his Wikipedia page then? FFS.

The Caley defence looks pretty hopeless when Raith actually put them under pressure.

Thank you Raith.

My feelings have mellowed a little too. Having bought it for the NI game and worn it a few times I'm in the "ach it's allright but not great" camp. Still think there's far too much yellow and we missed an opportunity to have an iconic kit with a nod to the past and celebrate our return to a proper finals (I don't really count the last one due to the covid / playing at home situation)
When I bought mine and the kids tops, I asked the staff at the store how it was selling and was told pretty well. Guess a lot of folk will be like me. Not overly happy with it, don't think JD sports are great at promoting it and think it's over priced. Yet we still buy it any way.
Think the SFA should do some sort of survey for the next kit. Can't please everyone i know but at least then we would have an opportunity to express our views. (I did raise my views on JD sports in the SSC renewal questionnaire and know a few folk that did too)
Genuinely, why? I would struggle to justify spending £75 on a top I actually liked, never mind one that I didn’t.

This reminds me. Rangers often release statements ahead of European games begging their fans not to be disgusting bigots, because the club might get punished. And there’s lots of back patting on social media because of it.
Do they pass any comment when it happens every week domestically? Do they f**k. Because they don’t give a f**k about the singing, only the possibility that there might be repercussions from it.

Apparently it came in for this season
Apparently it’s always been the case that penalty kicks aren’t classed as part of the match. The wording just changed a bit.

Imagine not being able to beat a team from a league without a title sponsor. Sad day for the brand.

I certainly wouldn't. Going down the middle is fine but you have to put a bit of pace on it. That was just hilariously bad.
He could have struck it much better, I’m not saying it was good, but it still wouldn’t have made any difference to the outcome.
There were 1 or 2 other limp penalties that the commentators were salivating over purely because the keeper dived the wrong way.

Immensely pleased to see City pumped out but can folk give it a rest with the “awful penalty” patter about Silva. 9/10 the keeper moves and everyone’s going on by how much nerve he had to hit it down the middle.

I love it when the English commentators express with such surprise that someone who’s played hundreds of games for a team like Real Madrid is “actually quite a good player, you know.”

This is painfully fucking dull.

A defensive master class from Kyle Walker there.

Is Xavi meant to be on the pitch?

Hoping to see some more Barcelona heads in orbit over the next 5 minutes.

No one gives a shit if you walk off the pitch in the 30th minute but when it’s the 80th you’re expected to sprint.

In fairness to the ref I imagine it’s challenging trying to oversee a game between a bunch of play-acting men-children.
And that’s only the Barcelona bench.

Kinda wish I could understand Spanish so I could watch the heads gone Xavi is going to have after the game.

It’s not a penalty in a normal country but in SFA VAR land it’s a penalty.
