  1. I would be willing to concede that if I thought you were going to roll over everyone, lets be honest you have a decent side, but your no 14-15 Hearts. I don't think Dundee Utd will be in great shape next season, McKinnon knows what he is doing but he has a complete rebuild on his hands with some pretty serious financial issues there I don't think they will be that strong. Dunfermline will be mid-table as well trying to build after coming back up, will be some tasty games and I am looking forward to them but top 4 will be a push for them and St Mirren should remain pish. Play-offs will obviously be the club goal but we aren't far away from a team that can win this division depending on the summer moving and shaking.
  2. You must be under the impression we didn't finish above you this year and beat you in the play-offs. Feel free to ignore us like you did this season until it's too late.
  3. Well that was a fair few pages of pish. It would surely be the ultimate hibsing if they got the cup stripped off them because of the pitch invasion, that shouldn't and wont happen but it would be hilarious purely because bounce here would die of such rage that he could be the ghost/monster in the next ring movie. Anyway on to Falkirk, we are apparently looking to bring in at least 3 players, Rogers being one of them and a couple of defenders, along with a pretty solid front line and maybe one or 2 in midfield if anyone leaves we could be in a good position to challenge Hibs for the title for which they will obviously be favourites unless they go mental and clear out the squad and the management team. We apparently have 800K in the bank so it might be the right time to splash a very reasonable and sensible amount of cash to bring the squad on, maybe 50-100K of that should be enough to get us there or there about.
  4. I thought Hippo had predominantly played on the right at Livi but I could be wrong, I figured he would switch over to replace alston.
  5. Defensive mid isn't really his game, doesn't shirk his responsibility going back but it would be a waste of his best attributes to leave him in a holding role, good box to box or on the right wing.
  6. Quite like the idea of that with a narrow 3 in there actually but if we are going to stick with 442 I would probably move Leahy to Left Mid where I think he would be more effective with his pace, crossing, engine and long shots. He hasn't had it easy with Sibbs in front of him but he isn't a natural defender and can get turned pretty easily and mistimes a fair few tackles, he would do well tracking back to support a full back though so I think that and an actual RB and an additional CB would give us a strong back 4 and good cover options if someone gets injured again.
  7. Alston will do a job for you guys, he will probably take a little while to find his feet going up a division but he has some potential and I think he needs to be playing at a higher level now to help him develop a bit more. He is really composed in front of goal and can pick a good pass but sometimes goes missing a little bit in games, works hard and always tracks his man. He will pop up with a few special goals you will remember for a while.
  8. McGeever is a name I haven't heard in a while. I wonder what happened to him, was being touted as a promising youngster at one point.

  10. Always Rangers and Celtic fans that talk about merging clubs as though the problem of local club attendances isn't actually towns and cities filled with OF fans with exactly no connection to Glasgow other than bigotry or good old fashioned glory hunting. Especially Ironic considering the fans of Scotland's newest club are going so far out of their way to tell everyone they aren't a new club, support for others forcibly changed would obviously be fantastic.
