I have a feeling the striker will come from down south. Sort of the same idea as Raith done last season with the likes of Manny Duku from the National League.

We had that combo 2 seasons ago. But the black socks were soon scrapped for white ones. Due to constantly clashing with other clubs away socks.

No idea! Last year they announced one the day after payday (for those who get paid on the last Thursday of every month) at the end of June/July/August. I assume this was a tactic to get more sales. But as last season didn’t start till September, they had more time to release 1 shirt a month. I’d imagine that they’ll unveil all 3 of them a week on Friday. The day after payday. Don’t hold me to that though, just adding 2+2!

Surely they’re just rumours for a reason. The guy will have this season, win or bust, promotion or most likely lose his job. I highly doubt he’ll sign a full team of mediocre league 1 players.

And did play with Agnew at East Fife for a spell in 19/20 season.

I personally think he has earned the right to a new contract. But either way, it’s going to divide opinion, as it already has in the Airdrie Facebook group. The players seem to respect him and give their all on the pitch for him as of recently in the run we put together, and that’s half the battle. It is crucial that Murray or whoever is the manager, gets it absolutely spot on with the recruitment in the summer.

Still hurting today but losing 4-0 on aggregate to a better team is a bit easier to accept. Would’ve been hurting more if we lost by 1 goal or on penalties. The board have a massive decision on their hands with the manager now, I’m glad I’m not the one making that decision.
