  1. Can’t believe he’s still only 25. Feels like he’s been around forever, seems like a lifetime ago he was at the Rovers.
  2. Must be nice signing a player…. I’m sure everyone else is the same and hoping tonight is the night we announce someone
  3. It’s gotten to the point now that I’m looking on the archived news on the website of old signing announcements. Just to remember what it feels like to see a new signing Trusting the process though. Would rather wait on good signings than have loads of early average signings, like the preseason of the 18/19 season!
  4. Probably nothing but I noticed that Fernandy Mendy and some French chap that played for Queen’s Park a couple of years ago liked our tweet about the new pitch.
  5. His performance in the 7-2 defeat to Albion Rovers still gives me nightmares!
  6. You’ve basically just said in your second sentence exactly what I’ve been trying to say haha. But yes, I agree on your point on their managers!
  7. I didn’t say that, and if it came across that way, it wasn’t intended. I was trying to say with tongue in cheek, that if they had less money they’d have a different team that would maybe have more fight. It wasn’t meant to be as deep as you think it is. But anyways, I’m not going to sit and argue over something daft. See you in the new season ️
  8. See my reply to Grant228. You should know all about this being an Abroath fan, and the season you had
  9. No not at all. All I’m trying to say is Airdrie and Montrose both had a smaller budget than Falkirk last season and both finished in the playoffs, miles ahead of Falkirk points wise. Two teams with hard working players that were collectively hard to beat over the course of the season. And then you look at Falkirk who massively underachieved, giving away cheap goals every single week and losing 4-1 and 3-0 at home to Airdrie and Montrose. When on paper, that should not be happening due to their squad and budget, but the hungrier team won on the day. Which brings me to my point that having a hard working team that play for each other is half the battle, instead of having a expensively put together team of individuals that think they’re too good for League 1. I’m in no way saying that you can’t have both a big budget AND a good team on the park.
  10. Look at Airdrie, look at Montrose. We have by no means a poor budget, but nowhere near as big as Falkirk and Dunfermline’s….
  11. Might’ve have players with more fight for a start, instead of ones that think they’re too good for this league!
  12. I always see everyone saying he’s local, but is he not from Hamilton (Burnbank)? Fairly local to be fair but not from Airdrie if that’s what folk believe. Good look to the lad though, I can see him having a right good season at Clyde assuming that he’ll be getting a good run of starts!
  13. 1. It’s 2. far 3. too 4. early 5. to 6. predict 7. the 8. league 9. table 10. Falkirk
  14. Must be going back 12-13 years since we were last in the same league as the Doonhamers!
  15. Welcome to League 1! Looking forward to a trip or two to Meadowbank in the new season!
  16. Just a shame Gal can’t feast on East Fife this season! We will just have to sacrifice Edinburgh City to Gal instead now!
  17. Falkirk taking our best players and there’s nothing we can do about it, is going well…
  18. Nah don’t believe that. We have Smith and Kouider-Aissa signed up full time for next season. Plus all the talk from the board about being stronger next season.
  19. On the new goalie front, I’d like to see us bring in the lad Schwake that was on loan at Edinburgh City last season. He looked a really good prospect!
