Even though I don’t rate him I’d have Legzdins back in. Agree with the rest bar McMullen who is defo play.
Big game, for all the hype about McGhee and the Celtic game how much effect could he actually have had in 3 days?Is it worth giving young sharp a go instead of the bombscare that is lawalor he’s had like 3 games now to inspire confidence and Iv not an iota of it.

Don’t suppose anyone actually knows what kind of injury ledzgins has as that’s about 2/3 weeks he’s been out?
also how shite is sharp if lawlor(2 year deal) gets the nod ahead of him or am I being harsh?

Your gaffer just left you for a team in freefall, numerous places below your own club in the league table.
Minter.
Yet I still feel worse off, wierd that.

I think Iv went through the 3 stages finished my anger stage Iv hit acceptance
mark McGhee manager of the year 2022 if he pulls a rabbit out his arse and we finished 10 or above
SpoilerHate saying I’d settle for 11th but I don’t believe we’d beat whoever in the playoffs

I’d have taken a gaffer to the end of season and see where we are and budget accordingly after that.
I can’t believe they just asked Strachan’s speed dial 1 if he’s free knowing full well about the 6 game ban.
keeping mackay is also bad form and should be gone with mcpake too.
lastly is it not mental that McGee was the assistant to his current assistant, at Stockport
fundee stuff

Simon Rusk is a very highly regarded young coach, yes it didn't work out at Stockport but that was more to do with expectations- promotion from a very tight National League. He was far from a disaster there. I got the sense he just didn't fit that club, and he also was following a legendary manager dismissed in murky circumstances. Maybe there's a medium term plan for him to take over.
I honestly had no idea McGhee was still working, a pretty jaw-dropping appointment. The only time I have seen his name recently is "John McVeigh" type suggestions when a club is looking for a new manager.
anyway this is verging on "reasoned analysis" so...
I would also recommend some of the twitter meltdowns in the comments under the club's official announcement.
Literally James mcpkae .2 edition

What an absolute travesty it will be if we appoint Mark McGhee.
I genuinely think it will be the final nail in the coffin for alot of fans. Don't even think about doing this Dundee FFS.
Can you imagine the dense thinking behind needing experience and concluding that Mark mcGhee is the man. If it's coming from Strachan that's even worse throwing his mates name in the hat. I thought for a bit we might actually be on the cusp of moving forward as a club but we'd be accepting utter mediocrity once again.
Im going to enjoy a peaceful sleep tonight because I predict tomorrow ill be typing through a tidal wave of tears and slavering. I can already feel the rage building but will temper it until the announcement is made.
Thank you.

Penny may have now dropped for some of us John Nelms, throw your young, previously bullet-proof prodigy under the bus without (allegedly) it would appear having any replacement lined up? James McPake added to his playing squad only last week for goodness sake!
It would have been considerably easier answering the questions put to you last December regarding the purchase and subsequent resale of Dens Park prior to the new stadium project rather than now play a game of deflection in February?
Truly, truly hope I'm wrong, obviously taking into account the shit we've had to endure the last six years or so.
I look forward to a sensible management appointment, nowt less than Jack Ross is acceptable.
Tick tock.
Hahahahahah
only us

That ryan Duncan looked a tidy player as was the #8 before he drifted out the game

I’m hoping we sign a striker off of the money to be made from the cup tie. We’re desperately needing bodies up front. There’s got to be some free agents that can do us a turn.
Another goal by Cummings…

My Gramps used to say that our bogey team was/is QotS. He says we couldnae always had trouble with them no matter the situation - cups, different leagues, stacked Dundee teams of yesteryear it may no difference as it was always a struggle, especially away from home.
Even now if totally agree with your gramps , total bogey team
unsure if we have heaps of bogey teams or have had a team of bottle merchants since officially started supporting Dundee circa 2005

Doesn't bear thinking about, probably also involves, dirty claw fingernails, knocking people out with one punch, and pie charts.
Thank you.
I’ll not hear a bad word about a pie chart.

Lawyers chance to steal a claim…not impressed, another shite goal to add to the list of what is now 42 GA
mulligan fairly non existent on left, would take a punt on swapping wings with McMullan just to see what happens for 5/10 before mcginn comes on
if rudden would stop pulling his socks up every 2 minutes I’d be happier, but decent enough
Play it on the deck we look slightly better as hoofball seems to be doing F ALL

Out of curiosity why does everyone want Jack Ross as he’s been sacked from his last 2 jobs?
having taken no real notice of him, how does he play or set up a team and does the way he play suit us?
for years we’ve had a midfield that teams can literally run through and easily at that, does JR style have a bit of steel in the middle or is he tiki taka pish?
