We were sitting top of the league when Muir played his last game. We are now 4th. For what it's worth, I think they are both excellent keepers. For me Muir just shades it but there is little to choose between them.

What do other full time clubs do? I'm not talking about the likes of Rangers & Celtic - more clubs like Morton, Raith Rovers, Ayr United etc.

I will own up to being one of these fans - although I did query the ability of the pitch to cope with two teams playing there. I was given the following assurance.

Penalty clause or not, you would imagine, it is in both teams interests not to have 16 games in 12 weeks at Firhill. We should be looking for somewhere else to play & Thistle should be delighted.

Agree with this. Baynham certainly showed some promise and you would hope he would improve the team a bit but seeing him as the saviour is a tad on the optimistic side.

My comment about playing Charlie Fox up front was meant to highlight our deficiencies in that area. I agree that he should be first choice at centre half.

We desperately need someone to score goals. if you take away the freak 6-0 Falkirk game where we benefitted from extraordinary generosity from the Bairns, only 2 teams have scored less goals than us. McHugh is not the answer. Murray is not the answer. Baynham might be at least a partial answer ... if he is ever fit. Our 3 top scorers (Longridge, McHugh & Connell) have 14 goals between them the same as Goodwillie & only one more than Rory Gallagher & Graham Webster. Plain & simple, we need a striker - either that or play Charlie Fox up front!!
