Sorry not sure if already posted but pretty typical of Trump’s bluster.

This show must be so much better to watch now all the episodes are there at once. The combination of binging it and such long gaps between series at times meant that I forgot tons of details by the time the new series arrived. Actors and characters seemed to Disappear between series quite regularly too without much of an explanation which didn’t help. Liked the show quite a bit but think these gaps did affect my enjoyment by the end.

You’re right. I think Cerny, Rogers and Frank Ross were about the only ones that had first team games played. Think Bryson signed on at least a two year deal.

The UK’s much lower rate of testing and it’s inefficient methods of statistical recording of data not giving a true measure of the numbers of related deaths is also important. Whilst not a comparison to Ireland there are a lot more countries than Germany with high population density similar to the UK that are performing far better than the UK is so I’m not sure London’s population is quite the scapegoat people want it to be.

Apologies if already posted but a really good thread showing how Ireland has managed to have less than half the deaths of the UK despite being in a similar (slightly worse off) position with regards to number of ICU beds. Largely caused by the Government dithering at the start of this.

Wasn’t there a story that a report was made in 2016 showing that in the event of a pandemic the UK was badly prepared and the NHS would struggle to cope that the Government basically ignored and hushed up? I suppose I wouldn’t expect this Government to spend the extra money but some kind of preparation plan should have been put in place so that they weren’t fumbling about like they were. I suppose it also depends if you’re fine with the UK being amongst the worst in developed countries for hospital/icu beds per head of population generally as well.

How is Denmark situated for numbers of regular Hospital/ICU beds compared to the UK? They could be in a better position for avoiding their health service being overwhelmed. With the much higher case numbers and deaths in the UK there’s no guarantee the numbers may have decreased significantly enough even after eleven days of falling numbers.

Noticed that podcasts by actors recapping episodes from their old shows that have now finished seems to be the in thing. The West Wing weekly finished up recently and Battlestar Galacticast has been going a little while but in the last month I’ve seen three podcasts start up for The Sopranos (Actors that play Christopher and Bobby Bacala), The US office ( Angela and Pam) and Scrubs (JD and Turk). Guessing it might be a case of actors not getting as much work as they hoped after the show finished and are hoping to make some money off the nostalgia or maybe they just want to catch up with old friends in the cast.
