  1. Incoming imminent, I would imagine that's McGovern. Underwhelming but six months of cover
  2. Michael McGovern apparently incoming, replacement for Hamilton. 39 year old 3rd choice at Hearts... 6 month loan.
  3. Bitsindou away, thank f**k. One of the holdouts gone, now for Bahamboula
  4. Halliday to Motherwell and Hamilton out for 6-8 weeks
  5. We actually paid for the green ones, then when they came to do it they told us yourselves and Hamilton had used them all. Since we were last we just couldn’t get it done
  6. The wild part is that we both have the same pitch. Installed by the same company in the same summer with the same product laid. Only difference is you guys used up all the green balls so we got stuck with the black ones
  7. Wonder what bargain bin in Primark we'll pull a striker from then
  8. Martindale in the media saying ideally we get three in and three out: He wants a defender, midfielder and a forward. Given the links I think the ideal scenario is something like Def: ? Mid: Andy Halliday Fwd: Greg Stewart Can see us being priced out of that completely though and end up with something daft like an 8th tier English player and no one else
  9. Issue will be if the pitch is already frozen by now though, there's a section of the pitch that gets zero sunlight from October-April. If that part has frozen then there's no way for it to thaw out. Doesn't help that the stadium is also in the low point of a valley right next to a river - can end up 3-4 degrees colder than surrounding areas. It's happened in a similar way previously where the actual game day is fairly mild weather but the weather in the 2-3 days leading up to the game is what's caused the issue
  10. Partly I'm not surprised, a lot of Livi fans wont be buying since they want Martindale gone and overall a fair bit of pessimism around the place.
  11. Can't see this one going ahead, -8 last night and already -3 here now. Pitch will be frozen solid.
  12. Could very well be an option but they don't exactly make it easy to join the trust at all. Just get the ball rolling and we can all start pulling in one direction for the club
  13. Could quite easily start from the beginning with a new trust, as those above have said £10 a month membership fee, gets you a vote on the position of the new trust on matters they take to the club etc. Far too much baggage attached to LFL and too much control in the hands of one person that likely doesn't want to step aside or abandon their own ideas on how things should be run
  14. In other news, Greg Stewart and Andy Halliday would be very strong signings IMO
  15. I think the time might be coming for fans to push on and start something new rather than following on with the LFL Trust. If they can’t get a meeting on after the amount of panicking they’ve done over the situation then who’s to say they’ll ever be ready
  16. I agree with that, he's had plenty of time. My comment was more about Martindale singling him out specifically when the entire team has been off-form
  17. You'll be better reading back a bit, someone already covered it. To get him this window probably 200k+. Great finisher, treated like shite by Martindale and deserves better.
  18. I would imagine so with the stadium being owned by the council too. It'd continue under current operation unless they want to buy that or the stadium all in one
  19. Why would we when we don't own the stadium? It's operated by Simon Preece's Food Creations as far as I'm aware - they're quite happy to shite on Livi fans and deny entry when it's Rangers/Celtic on their way to us. Wasn't it them that also let an 'IRA song book night' be booked for the same suite, it was cancelled once a few people raised the issue to the club. That may hint at the club having a say in how it's used.
  20. Looked best at CDM for us funnily enough. Can play RB/CB/LW as well. Felt he was a bit of a victim of his versatility, he couldn't find a spot to make his own and there was always players ahead of him. Think RB was his 'primary' position, which based on recent showings we could be doing with as well. I always felt his lack of pace was a barrier to him being a success at this level to be fair, he struggled to get up and down the wing against a better standard of player. I reckon he should be solid enough now at this level (with a few years more experience under his belt) but not a standout.
  21. Goalkeeper is apparently Winterthur’s backup. Shamal and Jack both sick
  22. Will more than likely make it over to the Trust's meeting. Still not overly convinced by them though, for all the organisation they have it may as well just be restarted fresh under a new name - if not for the shares they own.
