I was very critical of Dec all season long but tbf when it came to the must win end of season games he was one of very few who seemed to care and was our best player in those games despite being stuck out wide left. He put in an absolutely terrific performance at easter Road in particular when only a blunder from a certain donkey denied us a well deserved point that would have kept us up. Under the right coach/manager he could easily cut it in the championship I reckon.

In that article he is talking about progressing his career it's hardly a transfer request. Who are these players you're talking about btw? The one and only player who has proven himself this season i would say is Ross Mathews. What makes you think anything was learned from the Bates fiasco? According to our chairman on the recent interview giving him away was the only option available because Bates is a lifelong fan of The Rangers.

Get something for him? Like we did with David Bates you mean? No one is saying he is the messiah but he is a good young player produced by the Rovers, contracted to us and yet he was forced to play a huge part in relegating us. Despite this he has shown a great and loyal attitude and supported the team when it would be understandable for him to publicly state a desire to leave our shambles of a club. Anyone with half a brain could see why us fans would hold him in such high regard.

Going by some of the quotes in here it looks like captain fantastic will be with us for atleast another year.

I got taken to the odd Morton game when I was younger due to having family in Gourock who I stayed with during school holidays. You've no idea how much regret I've had over the years that I chose to follow the Rovers when I could have been a fan of the famous greenock Morton. I mean league cup win, first division champions twice, uefa cup run including a trip to Munich and beating Sevco in their first ever final is f**k all compared to beating Beith JFC and finishing 4th out a league of 10 before getting pumped in playoff first round. We can only dream of being as successful as the famous though eh?

Kevin Cuthbert or Kyle Benedictus would be good signings for Queens. Mathews, Vaughan and Callachan are also decent but would command a transfer fee.

So his performance all seaaon is acceptable because of one half decent pass that led to a meaningless goal. Can't fucking believe there are still people defending Davidson. He is an absolute p***k of a man as well as being absolute pish on the park. Get him to f**k.

Some good news at last. Saying all the players are free to leave however is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard. Mathews Vaughan and Callachan are worth good young players worth money and we should be building next year's team around them

Are the players going to wash their own strips if we get relegated? Surely his job doesn't depend on him giving a winning team talk anyway. That would be a truly abhorrent way to treat a lifelong fan who is proudly serving the club.

Might be a good idea. It will maybe help motivate the players having someone who cares about the future of the club giving the team talk for a change.

No to goodwillie from me. As well as being a rapist, he was pretty average when he played for us before and has been a failure at crystal palace, Blackburn, Blackpool, Plymouth Aberdeen and Ross County since. Would be a disgraceful signing imo.

He has won promotion from all the lower leagues and finished 6th and 8th in the previous two premier league seasons. Lost his two star players at the start of the season and as is the way in Scotland had no funds to bring in adequate replacements. If you ask me he's done well to have Dundee 5 points above bottom this season considering his squad is so bad that even Craig Wighton manages to get a game most weeks.
