  1. Why on earth should we not considering Hartley? He is a former player who had an impressive managerial record until Dundee's recent loss of form. I would be more than happy to for him to be our next manager.
  2. You do have to feel for Lewis it can't be great coming in to training on a Monday knowing you've just fired your parent team closer to relegation. I spoke to the lad leaving Tynecastle after the cup replay and he genuinely seemed gutted to have been put out on loan. I hope he is willing to take a step down and help our title challenge next season in league one.
  3. We have plenty good defenders but none of them can pass out of defence and that is a clear problem. The last two matches in particular have seen our defenders constantly lump high balls over the midfield and up to Hardie. Manager seems happy with this though and apparently it is all Ryan Hardie's fault for being too much of a nice boy. Anyone know if Cuthbert or Stewart will be back before the end of the season? We sure could do with them for these last few games.
  4. Yes clearly there is issues between them. I have been critical of Barr but for him to sit on the bench today while Johnston and Mcmanus floundered about on the wings Hughes must have it in for him. Players don't seem to be responding to Hughes at all. Both Thompson and McHattie were having running arguments with him all through the second half today.
  5. Pleased we have made a signing. Considering we have released 3 players and ended another's loan to allow this to happen, the manager must have been real keen to sign this boy. From what I have read he is supposed to be a creative type and that is for sure what we need. I imagine he will play a number 10 role and atleast gives us more attacking options.
  6. I would keep Craig Barr for sure. He is a class act when fit. Would rather gamble on him being fit than bringing in an inferior replacement.
  7. I imagine any player not getting game time would say they don't get along with the manager. Hardly the same as being bullied
  8. Bullying him?? I've never heard so much pish in my life. If a young player can't take a manager shouting at him or dressing room banter then he isn't cut out for a career in football. The boy wasn't good enough end of. Don't make him out to be some sort of victim.
  9. Yes right move for both parties. Hopefully now with him Stevenson and Syme away we can afford to bring someone in.
  10. Apparently we are in the irn-bru cup final. Better hurry along to Fir Park.
  11. Impressive performance and real good finish.
  12. Thanks for the link very interesting. The proposed new stadium looks cracking but knowing Italian football it will likely never happen and they will play in the car park for the forseeable. In the last 25 years I think just about every club in Italy has stated intentions to build new stadia and other than Juve nothing ever seems to come of it.
  13. I think they have temporary stands on the athletics track. It might look a shambles but surely it an improvement on watching from the other side of a running track.
  14. Manager sounds like he has no faith in the players at all. Said he wasn't to harsh on them in dressing room because they are fragile. What the f**k is that meant to mean? Utterly pathetic. I feel sorry for the manager tbh Spot on he has been shit all season and even worse than that since he returned from injury. Bene looks a better option at RB now
  15. Probably didn't fancy being the sub keeper for the rest of the season.
  16. So we still went on to be relegated after that Alloa game? Where on the Internet do you find out about old games like these. I can remember Guido being in goals but I thought it had been 2-0! The Rovers took a huge support through I remember so it must have been one of thee last games that season?
  17. Wasn't that Paul tosh who scored in that game against Alloa? We did get relegated when Smith played with us anyway. I remember him hitting the post at love Street in a 0-0 draw and pretty sure that was the day our relegation was confirmed. Your right about Berwick game though and he was a good player for us. Think a lot of fans were unhappy with his signing but he won everyone over.
  18. Still no goalie news? Surely someone knows who the mystery Slovakian is? I'm hoping for dusan pernis. Always thought he was good for United.
  19. I'll forever associate the pars with that Pet Shop Boys number.
  20. Still no news on a keeper? Not even any rumours anyone? Surely Stevenston can't be in goal again against st'mirren.
  21. Or maybe Thomson Davidson Stewart Cuthbert etc are just not good enough anymore. Our great run last season was due to the players we couldn't retain in the summer. We were also pish last season until Connelly Longridge Hardie and Harry P were signed. All the goals and creative play we enjoyed was lost when those guys left. I'm not denying he was shite but I don't get all this "it's all Gary Locke's fault". We only finished 4th in a league of 10 last season i think some of you all got a bit carried away with that and now think the players we retained from last seasons squad are better than they actually are. Surely the players should be held atleast partly responsible for our current plight.
  22. Just went on clubs website to see if interview with manager was up. Wish I hadn't bothered after watching that drysdale interview. Pathetic stuff. Get him to f**k
