We were also pish last season until Connelly Longridge Hardie and Harry P were signed. All the goals and creative play we enjoyed was lost when those guys left. I'm not denying he was shite but I don't get all this "it's all Gary Locke's fault". We only finished 4th in a league of 10 last season i think some of you all got a bit carried away with that and now think the players we retained from last seasons squad are better than they actually are. Surely the players should be held atleast partly responsible for our current plight.

Yeah I am being an arse. The players are all hero's and all our current problems are down to that Gary Locke. You know if the current squad were utterly useless footballers and gave it there best every week I wouldn't say a bad worst against them. What we have is a group who preform well against far better teams and look utterly incompetent against Dumbarton and Qots. That is what has rapidly turned me against the current squad.

But Mckinnon or whoever else didn't take over the side mid season when on a 4 month winless run with a squad full of shit and no chance to bring new players in. I am all for giving managers from the lower leagues a chance but not in our current situation. imo we need someone who has been about and who knows what it takes to win games in this league.

Given our current slide towards the relegation places this is not the time to be appointing a manager who has zero experience of managing a full time team.

That is because it is an uninteresting fight. Vargas lost to Bradley who Manny beat 2/3 times so this fight is hardly going to build any hype or excitement. Plenty of big names still in the WW division but this match up is typical of HBO boxing and deserves the lack of interest it is getting. Thurman, Brook, Garcia, Porter or Spence v Pac would all be massive fights. No way this be his last fight either (unless he gets beat). I reckon he will fight Terrence Crawford next and that will be his last. Now that will be an interesting fight.
