I never thought I'd say this but I'm missing running, got injured while training for the half at the great Scottish run that turned out to be a torn peroneal tendon in my ankle so just had an operation repairing that and fitting a new ligament too. I'll be hoping to start a fresh when given the all clear, any advice on how to approach training as always appreciated -

The Famous Aberdeen - Season 2022/23

BBC now reporting we’ll go for the interim option until end of season while reviewing the whole football operation. seems a very sensible way of approaching it. Most importantly, to me, Neil Lennon isn’t in the picture don’t think we need that baggage and drama this season can be saved and a decent place achieved still but the underlying problems need to be addressed -

The Famous Aberdeen - Season 2022/23

Can see it being Alex Neil but in different circumstances giving Rhys McCabe a chance would have been ideal. as an Airdrie follower/local i don’t look forward to the day he’s away to a bigger job, but with my Aberdeen fan hat on he would have us playing the type of football we want to see I can honestly see the guy have a very successful career in management if he gets his next job correct given the last 3 appointments I can’t see Cormack take a gamble on an inexperienced manager. maybe an experienced DoF and a youthful forward thinking manager would be the ideal scenario but can’t see that happening either -

Got cat1 tickets for the Germany game and prime seats for the Hungary match, absolutely robbed price wise but do not give a f**k, buzzing! But that also may be due to coming out of surgery and waking up to the news

If you don't mind me asking what aqua terra do you own? There are a couple on chrono 24 that seem in pristine condition (1 black, 1 blue both 41mm on rubber straps) going for a reasonable price and they are eating away at me

I made a playlist for my couch to 5k which then added to but eventually I was listening to Leftfield, underworld and LCD soundsytem albums. The latest Leftfield album I found very good for a 10k -
That was the one I was in to look at unfortunately it felt a little too small at 37mm but I’m convinced that’s only because I’m used to wearing larger watch.

I look forward to the pics and review!

To get back on to watches popped into James porter and sons and tried on some Studio Underdog a goofy panda form 01series (38.5mm) a full moon and steffany blue from 02series (37mm) felt a little small but I was wearing a 41mm watch before trying them on so my perspective was probably off must say I liked them but the strap tailor leather strap was the winner, excellent quality

Quick update on this Went into the Edinburgh shop about the ring and while there asked them if it's the company or the individual sales person that have the influence on who gets the watches that come in and the girl explained the watches come into the Glasgow branch and then distributed to the shops and the sales staff put the names forward of the folk they reckon should get them. so advised as I was on the company system with the guy I initially met be better building up that relationship, plus the engagement ring was only in the other shop, bugger, she was kind enough to put my name down in the shop For an explorer II and would keep an eye out if one came into their store, again I won't hold my breath. So pre Xmas I was heading into Glasgow for a hospital appointment so called the shop and asked if the salesman could give me a call to discuss the ring, didn't hear back, royally annoyed. I followed up a month later same request and hadn't heard by time I got in to town so popped in and finally had a sit down only to be informed the ring had been put away for someone else to view FFS! On the plus side the salesperson was a lot better and very helpful and apologetic about not calling me back Anyway, the people didn't buy it so I have. so I now have a sales history and a "relationship" has started let's see if that improves my chances of getting my Submariner

I think he would have opened up and spoke about the crime of it wasn't for that young detective and his smug face. Even the way he spoke to the camera with those dodgy glasses infuriated me
