  1. Hope we do the professional thing in one of our remaining games and go in for a massive laugh.

    Burgoyne

    McGhee Osman Dixon Robson

    McKenna

    McShane Keillor-Dunn

    Petra Lavery O'Hara

Play out from the back like 2015 Barcelona, Robson running in behind like Jordi Alba on cocaine, take the pressure of being last man off of McKenna and just ping the ball like we haven't a clue what situation we're in. 6-0 United and a smile on my face for the first time this year.

It's not an overreaction to be worried. Partick can pick up wins against good teams, as can Alloa. Both teams will lose pl3nty too, but seem capable of attacking teams. Us? Set up not to lose and try and shithouse everyone. We win games when the opposition plays badly. We don't attack them.

Do we know that Alloa are attacking teams?

  3. Can't believe we're not discussing our impending promotion via the play-offs yet, have we been burned so badly by recent transfer window hypes? An unbeaten run like this with a new squad would have had us chatting about coefficients and Europe League places not too long ago. Have the East Stand Gazebos been booked yet or are we just waiting for confirmation of whether we pump the Arabs 5 or 6 nil?

Got to feel a wee bit sorry for Petra, sitting at home rehabbing what his chance of game time slowly evaporates.

Always thought Ray went out of his way to exclude him when moaning about the old mob, would be surprised if he doesn’t still play. Don’t see which of the new guys play his position anyway, him and MacLean should be the wingers going forward.

Know what made the biggest difference of all today, well two things, for me on an admittedly choppy stream....

We were at it for the second ball, and McKenna doesnt let the fucking ball bounce with a glaikit look on his melt if he can avoid it.

    Two wee things, fucking massive.

Of course its great to see midfielders looking to attack etc but despite the siege in the second half, there was little panic because defenders were much more incisive in what they were doing.

Fully agree with this, although the key to any sort of consistency will be whether we can get the ball down in situations like the last 20 minutes today and just keep it between defenders and midfielders. We're in a cycle of hoofing the ball up and not being able to move players back up the field before Ayr are back on the ball to deliver the next ball. If we can play two quick passes and start moving the full backs up to actually control the ball one way or another we'll be fine.

Waddington, Mitchell, McKenna and McShane definite positives for me on the day and I love Rudden's body language, both after the goal but even when he chased the ball out for a corner and gave it something towards the fans. Not a given for someone on loan from a big club, doesn't seem to feel "too big" for us.

  6. I'm no taking too much out of these games and the team can go into the first game with a clean slate from me, but I've seen every single one of our new signings do something mind bogglingly shite on at least one occasion. Up until now Petravicius looks direct, pacy and at least tries to get at the defense, my favorite so far, Brough currently at the other end of the spectrum. Doesn't look like a footballer when he's on the ball.

We'll see what we go with next week, can't wait to get underway.

  7. "That’s for them to deal with. You can only take responsibility for your own behaviour as a support." - Gordon Waddell

Still don't get why the f**k I'm to take responsibility for a group of wankers, just because they're wearing the same shirt as me. I can say I find it deplorable, as if I were commenting on anyone else's actions in the world, but being near a group of arseholes doesn't associate me with them imo. Apologies if he's only saying that I need to take responsibility for my own actions, but from context it sounds like I have to take responsibility for what any Falkirk fan does, in which case I apologize wholeheartedly for that article written by a fellow Falkirk fan.

Were you at the game today?

    Where’s the improvement?

    Clueless and toothless.

Come on, the bar is admittedly low but todays performance in terms of organization and attempts at going forward, especially in the first half, are on a different planet compared to the game at Dundee Utd for example. Many reasons for it, but theres no denying we're taking baby steps in the right direction in my opinion.

See, I think this formation would also suit Tony Gallacher, so I wonder if we might see something along the lines of:

    Thomson

    McGhee-Ballatoni-Grant

    Kidd-Taiwo-McKee-Sibbs-Gallacher

    Austin-Loy

Would be an absolute nightmare for me. No pace/attacking threat on the wing whatsoever, that's where you can beat teams in this league.

  10. Would be happy replacing Leahy with Gallagher and bringing O'Hara back into the fold. Henderson got decent reviews earlier on in the season at U20 level. I feel we have to either go big  with signings or get back to bringing players through, the quality certainly seems to still be there with the youngsters.

Yes very sexist comment. Extremely professional whenever I've dealt with her regarding tickets and merchandise!

Next person in the shop better get some footage of her professional conduct, I'm sure many on here could learn from her. Not in the club shop often so I'd of course appreciate the opportunity to witness it as well.
