If your starting out I would suggest Auchentoshan or Jura that can be got on offer easily by the supermarkets or Amazon. I'm really not a fan of them these days but starting off I really enjoyed them if your looking to move on to drinking with an ice cube or two rather than a mixer. Either way enjoy your journey and let us know how you get on.

I'd look at Tamnavulin its often around the £20 mark in supermarkets and is a great drop for that price.

Seems some of the stuff being shouted wasn't particularly pleasant either, bit disappointing. Can't understand why they don't ID these clowns and show them the door!

Probably the same cretin as the one who shouted " beans in toast" as a shot was struck

  3. The Costco at Aberdeen ,  you have three tills at the food outlet, I've never seen all three tills in use , and if you hit at lunchtime  then you have folk from neighbouring businesses who are members coming in for Thier lunch, them you get the selfish f##kers who order burger that arent pre prepared so that takes away at least one person manning the tills to do that , FFS Costco Aberdeen at least for lunchtime get all three tills staffed and have additional staff to prepare the burgers etc.

  4. Jim Courier, was world number 1 for a while in tennis then wasn't

Joe Johnson 1986 world snooker champion this 50 -1 shot gave Steve Davis his second consecutive beating at the crucible final , the year after saw a repeat of the final with Davis exacting revenge, Johnson the quickly slipped down the rankings.

Keith Deller,  1983 world darts champion, in a year that saw Dundee utd win the Scottish League, Aberdeen win the cup winners cup it was a year of the underdogs, Deller did nothing after that win.

  5. Listened to the interview he gave to chick young on sportsound today, yet again throws up questions on the reason behind the Richard Gough snub.

Interesting he said that Murray and Smith asked him why the captain of rangers wasn't selected, and after telling them he said they had no arguement over his reasoning

  6. That 86 squad for me would have been strengthened if Archibald, Souness, Sharp and McAvennie

Those 4 should never have gone, the former two suffered badly in the heat,

The latter two for me there were  no better or as good players not selected.

McCoist, Robertson, Black, McDougall.any two of those four were a better choice for me,

Of course Black was never going to get picked by Ferguson after his acrimonious departure from Pittodrie that spring, and indeed I believe that Ferguson saw to it that he never got any meaningful games for the national side,

Graeme Sharp was much like McClair good at club level, but woefully inadequate at international level.

I forgot he pumped Hazel Irvine too.

Pretty sure she got it from Ally McCoist, Jackie McNamara, Marco Negri and Jim White too. She was also a right shagger.

Im not so sure the Jim White one, was he not the man who nearly dropped her in it when she was allegedly seeing Jacki Dziekanowski

  8. Craig was the type of person even if you never met him you felt you knew him.

I met him once at an Aberdeen supporter club meeting, very patient and put up with my inane ramblings,

Yes there were Times that he frustrate me with his seemingly negative tactics, and his apparent over rating if the lesser nations, but he knew his side's limitations and its strengths and he had every players respect,

And he was a top man with the fairer sex

  9. A thoroughly decent human being, in a game blighted with cheating, gamesmanship very little honour. Brown was a bastion of all that is fair, honest, decent, highly respected and rightly so.

A sad day for Scottish football.

But at least Richard Gough can breathe easy his secret is safe
