  1. He's brave, gives his all, never backs out of a challenge, takes a lot of punishment, ploughs a lonely furrow, never complains about lack of support, knows his job and does it well, I'd start him ahead of Adams who I don't rate ever since the game (maybe against England) when he pulled out of a header,  for fear of getting hurt, dykes would have gone all in

Team of the Season if they must do these things - make it trickier by making the pundits choose a player from each club plus manager.

Peter Grant managed three token non-Celtic players in his, and one he wasn’t even sure who he played for.

Thrilling radio/podcast it does not make.

Aye and he mentioned St  mirrej GK, Kelly.

The story goes that Newcastle signed Dave Beasant from Wimbledon that summer along with Robbo and he was used to launching the ball down the field. The two Newcastle strikers were Mirandinha and Robbo who weren't the tallest and the ball apparently sailed over their heads.

Another blink and you missed him was Roy Aitken playing for Newcastle.

    As did Neil Simpson

A good recruitment strategy should always be ready to move for a player should one of our players be sold.

I’d like to think the new set up has all sorts of lists available.

Alex Ferguson once said while Aberdeen manager, that once he had signed a player his first job was to immediately start looking for Thier replacement

Got to admit i'm now extremely hooked on this VAR v Aberdeen/Robson saga, hoping VAR will push him to his limit and he'll run over to the monitor with a sledge hammer and demolish it. Can't be much more he can take before it happens.

Knowing the Robbo clan it's certainly not impossible.

    Fruitella. Nothing beats them.

Years ago my local village shop sold his fruitellas for at that time 18p  the shop a couple of miles away was 24p.

I mentioned 9nevday that 18p fruitellas were a bargain compared to with the 24p ones,  to which my then purchase was promptly immediately increased to the same price 24p.
