We have a joint account for mortgage, bills etc plus sub accounts for holiday savings and suchlike. The rest is in our own accounts to spend/save as we please.
This sounds like a terrible thing to say but I think I'd be a little bitter if my wife earned significantly less than me and I/we couldn't have a 'nice' lifestyle as a result.

A draw, with Spain scoring in the first minute so I can relax a little then a Norway equaliser with the the last kick of the game.

Anyone help me out with what sections are going to be closest to the away end? I’m on ten, so not expecting to be anywhere close to a ticket.
Normally away fans are in the South East corner. I presumed it'd be the same for this game so bought my tickets close to there.

Bought tickets for the home end - have spent money on planes and trains and hotels, so may as well go the whole hog.
Anyone else that's done that - do the tickets get emailed to you instantly? I've got a receipt and emails to say I've bought tickets (and the money's out my bank), but no actual tickets.
I'm concerned I may have selected them to get posted (I put my address down as the hotel)
They can be downloaded from 10th October onwards

Right in the middle of the local hooligans then
I was presuming hooligans wouldn't exactly be out in force for an international match with a nation not renowned for hooliganism (at international level), would sit at the opposite end to the away fans and would not be in the stand along the touchline.
In case I am wrong, I suspect a man and his wife wearing plain clothes, not celebrating (potential) goals and generally keeping a low profile wouldn't be their primary targets.

I bought tickets for the France end, next to the away section. Had to use VPN to get them as initially said not available to me when not using VPN. Had no issue with a Scottish address/U.K. credit card

An all round sensational performance and a bumper crowd of over 700.
We looked a division or two above Stranraer for the majority of the game. The first complete performance in a long, long time!

Also the Lowland league must be fucking horrendous to watch if every team falls over as much as Spartans and Bonnyrigg. Ridiculous
You forgot Matty Aitken's (1 goal, 2 assists today) Stenhousemuir's falling over

Apologies if covered elsewhere, but with regards seeding for the finals, how does it work? I've seen/read contrasting claims.
It it just simply all the teams who qualify through the 'usual' qualifying method using purely number of points gained in qualifying, or does winning the group take precedence for a higher seeding?

Delighted to see the failed statelet back to being a pub team

I can't believe I thought Crighton for Buchanan was an even swap. Buchanan is sensational.
I know Forfar fans will get their knickers in a twist but Jamieson, Jamieson, Buchanan is the best keeper/defensive duo in the league by a distance.

I'd like that flashy light thing from Men In Black please.

So what happens if there are 2 or even 3 injuries to defenders in the match - why not have Aaron Reid on the bench ready to come on if needs be? Do teams in the champions league have 1 defender, 1 midfielder, 1 forward on the bench? Signing amateurs and not putting them on the bench is a waste of time. Robs them of a chance of finding a pro contract, deny ourself an extra insurance against injury during the match. Costs us nothing financially. Daft imo
Because shuffling senior pros into unfamiliar positions is preferable to putting on absolute dross. Saying that, Reid would have been just about serviceable.

One I missed was Bilham going down off the ball as we were countering. The assistant was so far behind play, that he never saw it and neither did the ref. Kinlay didn't make much of it.
Maybe I'm misremembering but it was stand side, about the half way line. Certainly kicked up a bit of a fuss whoever it was.

No, he threw himself to the floor Like Stenny did all day
There were a few comical dives for sure but I really though he was cleaned out.

I wasn't fully focusing on it so can't be 100% sure but was Yates not booted off the ball right in front of the linesman?

Why didn’t we stick the 3 amateurs on the bench today? Serious question
What would be the point of having folk there that we're never going to put on? We had a keeper, defender, midfielder and striker on the bench. Not ideal but there's no point in just filling it up for the sake of it

An entertaining 0-0 draw between two reasonable teams. Probably a fair result with decent chances for both teams.

Well that’s put a dampener on things !
It costs more money for security to open it but I do wish it was open for away fans even if it was just 50 or so.

Stenny fans , was about to purchase tickets in advance on the website . Only shows for Norway stand . I take it everyone is getting shoe horned into the wee corner ?
If that's the case the terrace won't be open.

Started watching 'Crime', a series based on Irvine Welsh's books. That fucking accent. Far, far worse than the Glasweigan accent.
