  1. The actual, eventual payout is going to be roughly what Anderson donated to the clubs isn't it ? A great big fucking waste of time all round then.
  2. Any proposal for an additional payment to Hearts and Partick would have to be put to the clubs yes.
  3. The SPFL are going to sling them both a couple hundred grand and that'll be it.
  4. Ooaft. Taking it to court before going to CAS is breaking the SFA rules is it not ? Sine die please.
  5. A tacit admission that the fixture means nothing unless there's 50,000 seething bigots there imo.
  6. Sad to see that Throbber has been radicalized by Piers Morgan. He'll be hacking dead girl's phones and screaming abuse at Greggs for selling vegan stuff in no time.
  7. Nope, my hard drive is as clean as a whistle.
  8. Depends what you consider 'justice' to be in this instance. It's always easier with hindsight tbf, although I can say with certainty that I wouldn't have wanted Hibs to go down the route Hearts have.
  9. Indeed, it's almost as if these examples are happening under different circumstances and jurisdictions,
  10. Yes, there's a lot of grumbling and talk of legal action. I am struggling to find any evidence of repeated attempts to foist a detrimental reconstruction via coercion, any "the Eredivisie needs Utrecht more than the Eerste Divisie does", 'financial inducements' from 'mysterious benefactors' or indeed any talk of boycotts and hoping other clubs die. And no tear stained, threatening letters from estate agents either.
  11. Can you give me an example of any top-flight club in Europe who have behaved like Hearts ?
  12. It is of course impossible to say how other clubs and their fanbases would have reacted had they been in this position. Imo, most clubs would have accepted relegation was a fait accompli after the first abortive attempt at reconstruction, had a wee grumble, then looked to get some sort of financial compensation.
  13. Would the BBC really sue Scottish football ? It would be an absolutely terrible look for them. No doubt Tom English will be all for it.
  14. It looks like we've handled this badly, by trying to do the right thing initially by staff, wage referrals and no immediate redundancies. It's no surprise we're toiling, revenue has been halved, but we won't be the only ones. You can't blame the players if they're asked to take big cuts, while we sign players. Any player wage cuts should have been sorted out earlier, not on the eve of resuming training and while we're looking to add to the squad. Most of the article is obviously rumour and so on, but it's bad PR for the club.
  15. I would think (hope) that punting him on the cheap to Rangers would be a last resort.
  16. Not going to lie, the Kickback lads opening accounts on here to make a rip roaring c**t of themselves is making this even better tbh.
