That's what the wee idiot wants – everything Hearts need to do here should be in the best interests of the club within the bounds of contract and employment law.
If there's a good, proven manager who will probably get you results, you should go for that. Tommy Wright is exactly that, but like Rangers fans with McInnes, a lot of people would rather take a gamble.
That's not completely off the mark, but Levein should be better than the nonsense cliche that only Celtic and Rangers do tactics. There's some good managers in the league – better managers than Craig Levein.
Levein's comments today are cringe central – the guy is all over the place just now. If I was McInnes or Wright I'd be pretty hacked off by what he said about the tactics of the league except Rangers and Celtic.

Hahahahaha this does not look good and is not very clever either.
I used to work in the kitchen at a seaside restaurant when I was a teenager, and Chick used to come in regularly wearing his (probably free) SPL tracksuit. We were all struck by the fact that he was surprisingly overweight. We also got ticked off by the manager for impersonating him in the kitchen while he was there.
No, I'd rather see them well run as a prerequisite to success. I'd rather see Scottish football clubs run well. It's not contradictory at all. It doesn't do our game any good to see clubs run like clown car outfits, despite the short term comedy factor.
OK – I'll explain a bit further. I generally like to see well run football clubs putting good teams on the park because I enjoy it as a spectator and it benefits Scottish football. The game as a whole does not benefit from a preponderance of shambolically run clubs.
However, I would obviously rather my team did better than their immediate rivals.
It's not that hard.
