Biggest concern with the squad (other than the GK & Striker) is that if any of the 3 attacking midfielders get injured we have nobody who’s capable of replacing them.

There would  be a real lack of pace and creativity in there. We could do with a utility man who can play on either wing or through the middle.

I disagree we have got more than we had last season. Walsh zanatta and mccowan can all interchange and play different positions, plus we have moff who can play there too I think the only positions we need are a striker and a keeper

We've been in the Championship long enough to know that the successful teams all have a mix of technical ability, goals and a physical edge to them.

Along with scoring on average just short of two goals and conceding just short of a goal a game on average.

I hope you're right and we'll pass teams off the pitch and have the opposition chasing shadows, but for me you can definitely have too many similar ball players in a team. A Reece Cole type player would be that for me.

At any level of the game there will be players who's job first and foremost is to break up play, win the ball back, and pass it on to let the ball players do their thing. I fear we're not addressing this to the starting eleven (at the moment anyway).

Murdoch can do that role fairly well. He will be the more defensively minded player in my eyes when we are playing the Alloas and  such like and maybe have an enforcer in muirhead for games against tougher opponents

Clubs that are playing under a testing regime need to be tested to play. Clubs that are not don't.

So if you aren't currently testing (and you don't have to outside the Premiership right now) then you can train and play friendlies from Monday against other clubs who are not testing. If you ARE testing then you can only play other clubs who are as I understand it. Which is why Hearts have been playing friendlies against English sides and Premier reserve sides, etc but everyone else hasn't played at all yet.

As it stands non Premier sides will have to start testing to play competitively but as long as they avoid testing clubs at the moment they can play another club who are doing the same.

I thought they said they weren’t going to enforce testing for lower league sides in Scotland as it would be too much of a financial burden for them
