He was good value, I'm sure I came onto the thread when it was [emoji91] and he was at least 80% of the posts. I think he started conversing with himself at one point or at least it seemed that way. He calmed down a lot though.

January is a hard time to find permanent deals. On the face of it, Gillespie was a real solid signing, good experience, played at a good level etc. Just didn’t work out (probably just missing a pre season). Can argue Houston was a permanent signing of his. I think with McArdle, we’ll have a better vision in signing players and probably have a more thought out shortlist of players. Time will tell, hopefully we’re able to get to the stage of signing players etc, but every club in the division is in the same boat here.

The only 2 that I don’t think will get an offer will be Gillespie and Geggan. Whether or not others like Harvie decide of their own accord to leave is a different matter.
Geggan I’d keep, Gillespie can go as far as I’m concerned.

Surely they compile a list of all players that played more than a few games for there club and let fans decide if they have a vote at all!

Good luck with Hummel, Airdrie had them a couple of seasons ago and I think we were lucky to get the strips for November due to Humnnel constantly failing on delivery promises and constant moving of the goalposts.... Quality was quite good though.
Airdrie are small time though! Ayr are huge in comparison!1 -

DZ is a good player but given that he chose Thistle over us last season gives you the impression that we couldn’t match their £££ . Add to the fact that he’s walking away from them and away from those ££££’s also suggest he has a deal pending . If for example it’s us (doubtfu) then we would be offering pretty much our maximum deal , I could maybe see us doing that for a top striker or centre half but maybe not a wide player . We still have Geggan, McCowan , hopefully Murdock who can all operate wide if need be , we could also operate a 5-3-2 with the fullbacks getting up the flanks ,,
There is no world where Murdoch or geggan should be played wide midfield ever! Geggan is done at this level as much as that pains me to say and Murdoch is an out nd out cm0
