10th and 13th May for semi-final. 17th and 21st for the final. Following the established format we'd be away for the first leg of the semi. Winner of our semi would be at home for the first leg of the final.

Think we're home if the league 1 team wins against the championship team on the 21st.

  2. Guys, I'm looking for any goal of the season types that are on someone elses highlights.

I got a call from a guy from PFA Scotland who's looking for 4-5 incredible goals for their dinner at the beginning of May for each team and he asked me for Alloa's.  So mainly the away games as I only started filming at home on the 29th October and I've been to a grand total of 2 away games although I've compiled almost all the goals in the last three months into Goal of the Month so ignore them.

If you remember a pearler on the road I can have a look for them or a link to highlights would be ideal.

Yes  I agree. any footage of the QP game ?

Nah I gave it a miss probably I'll leave the away games to the home teams if they do decent highlights. I only went to Albion Rovers because they don't do their own and its fairly local. Might ask to go to Livingston. Apart from that I'll just be at the Indodrill.

Good to see the Twitter up & running again - hopefully sticks. Only club in Scotland who didn't have one!

Credit to the guys at Alloa for starting this up this season with the YouTube and Twitter. Been top quality.

We'll see how long the one man operation can last before burnout inevitably sets in.

When we were in possession it was more of an asymmetrical formation, with a midfield three of Pittman, Byrne and Millar, with Cadden wide left, and Sean Crighton manning the whole right hand side. David Hopkin's obviously nearly at the end of "Inverting the Pyramid", maybe we'll see some other madcap shit between now and May.

Any idea how i draw that formation?  the 4-4-2 is good enough

He was, but that was one of very few mistakes he has made down the years with Alloa. I'd agree with Father Barry, it would be extremely harsh to drop either Jason or Andy Graham. I can see McKeown coming into the team soon but more likely as part of a back three. I see he didn't play for Stranraer in their Scottish Cup tie last month so that's an option for the manager for the weekend.

I'm still waiting on seeing the Stranraer highlights but I'd like to see the 3-5-2  (although maybe that  was what didn't work against them).  Cawley as a winger doesn't do it for me I'd like to see him more central. Against Stenhousemuir he was my man of the match in that kind of system. Granted they've shipped 8 goals in our last two meetings so that doesn't say much for their defence.

And I wouldn't drop Marr or big Andy who is probably my favourite player right now just add Frank or Goodie if he's fit.

Just watched the highlights, how did we possibly lose that game, feel as bad as how the stranraer fans felt last weekend.

The goals we are conceding in every one of the highlights I've done are really soft. Against Stenny the goal is very sloppy but we were ahead anyway.  Against Stranraer nobody marking Agnew for the first goal. A good tackle but the ref gives freekick against us. Gibson puts it top corner. Against Queen's park it was Jim going to sleep. Brechin - that penalty and Marr's touch for the second.

Now Saturday, my first instinct while on the camera was that the offside player had obstructed Marr so he couldn't challenge for the header. But looking at it again Andy Graham is too far away to cover the space in behind and Marr charges out instead of backtracking. We keep getting punished for every mistake.
