  1. Fighter for the year: Frampton Fight of the year: Yamanaka-Moreno 2 Prospect of the year: Josh Taylor KO of the year: Gvozdyk vs Mohammedi Match ups I'd like to see in 2017, Gonzalez-Inoue Frampton-Selby Loma-Vargas Linares-Garcia Taylor-Ohara Davies Thurman/Garcia-Brook Charlo-Andrade GGG-Canelo Eubank Jr-Kovalev Kovalev-Beterbiev Usyk-Bellew Briedis-Gassiev AJ/Wlad-Wilder
  2. Hes completely respectful with opponents, almost too much, kind of wish he'd just call out Canelo for the ducker he is. This is the Russian interview I was on about that shows he isn't what HBO show him to be
  3. If you read any interview he does in Russian translated he definitely isn't this happy smiley guy that HBO try to portray. Think he knew it was a bit embarrassing fighting a welterweight and wasn't a fan of Eddie's press conferences or the way he hypes it up. I'd expect a completely different Golovkin against Jacobs
  4. What kind of style do you like out of interest?
  5. If you can't see how good his footwork is then you haven't seen enough of him, the pressure he puts on opponents is unreal always in front of them cutting off the ring superbly.
  6. Wlad couldn't take a punch early in his career either but he adapted and dominated for a decade, the best can adapt. Khan has always been frail defensively and doesn't look like changing that anytime soon
  7. No chance, he has quicker hands that's it. Shocking defence and Canelo's wins over Cotto, Lara, Trout are better than anything on Khan's resume
  8. Canelo won by being the greater boxer, harder hitter with the greater chin. Only took him a couple of rounds once he got his timing in and he'd laid Khan out cold. I'm not sure how I've proven your point?
  9. Out boxing him but I think he won 1 round, 2 at the most? Khan was out boxing Canelo I think I had that 4-1 when it stopped, it doesn't really mean anything when you look at how both fights ended, always only 1 winner
  10. You've been sucking the sky boaby a bit too much. GGG had absolutely no fear that Brook could hurt him, walked through his punches and broke his face within 5 rounds. He'll likely be a completely different fighter against Jacobs (who does have power at 160). A Lemieux/Stevens type performance.
  11. His biggest attributes are his footwork and a cracking jab, give him average power and he's still the best middleweight around and a top fighter P4P.
  12. Gonna be in Manchester going on Eddie's interview today
  13. No chance he ever beats GGG, 154 should be his target although I'd fancy the good Charlo and Andrade to beat him there. If he can still make welter then think everyone wants to see the Spence fight.
  14. Doubt it happens next, imagine it'll happen at some point though most money either of them can make other than maybe a Manny fight
  15. Cuadras rematch is signed I think? HBO should be getting Inoue over to fight on the undercard of that, fight someone in the top 10 and build to that massive fight late next year.
  16. This Thornton game is about as competitive as a Hearn main event
  17. Aye 175, can't think of anyone who seems to get as much power in short shots as him.
  18. Russian power from Beterbiev, a quick turnaround would be nice needs to get more active
  19. Aye been rumoured a while now makes sense on all sides tbh, not that Paulie deserves a title shot
  20. You came into this forum crying that we all support diddy teams and that we have too much say in how Scottish football is run, then when you got shown up you moaned like the grief junkie you are that OF fans have it so tough on here. If a Hearts/Aberdeen fan posted the same as you then they'do get the exact same reaction.
  21. It's beautiful how seething this makes you, heads gone all over an "irrelevant forum". Please continue with your tantrum it's only going to make it all the more glorious when the clubs vote it down.
  22. Supporting the biggest team in the league definitely means we bear some responsibility in leading the fight against ideas like this
  23. Didn't like Hammy being moved into the centre at first but it's definitely worked him and Little have a good partnership now don't see any point in splitting that up, do the people wanting a big centre half brought in want Dunlop to be starting more games then?
