Bankies winning Div 2 having started the summer with £3 and no players in 2003 to reaching the top flight.

Is there more painting etc planned? Would make sense for both clubs to stay away until it’s ready although in a business sense it will need to start bringing money as soon as it is good to go.

Hopefully the redevelopment can be the start of something that can allow both clubs to kick on. Results haven’t been great but got to keep the faith.

The green seats from the jungle were taken out and dumped in Bill Barr’s yard near Ayr. Clydebank then took a heap of them as there was plans to use them when they did some work at Glenhead Park but due to vandalism they never installed and indeed sold a couple to Celtic fans.

Great news for the town, hopefully both clubs can push on with a great facility behind them and the community.

I find it extremely hard to believe that any Bankies fan called anyone an orange b but as you say I wasn’t there so I won’t say anymore on it. Every support has a small element sadly, I don’t see that changing anytime soon though we can continue to try and educate people over their wrongdoings. Certainly from the video clip, there was alot of sill goings on and it’s a pity it has overshadowed what should have been a decent fixture between two clubs who have always got on over the years.

None of them are denying it though, same can’t be said for the other stuff. I wasn’t there so don’t know what happenned but if Mr Bamford has done something untoward then I’d fully expect our club to deal with it. Can the same be said for the Cambuslang management for any carry ins they were involved in or while it continue go be a case of “it wasn’t their fault, the big bad men shouted at them”?? There are wallopers in our support, no doubt about it. It doesn’t make it ok to react to it. Show a bit of class and rise above it.

Sad to see Yoker toiling a bit just now and hopefully they can bounce back but rather than walk away from them, why not seek to find out what you could maybe do to help. From some of the folk I speak to the Bankies, it’s a full time job trying to keep these clubs going....and for little reward more often than not.
