  1. If the general price is set at £3,000,000 which I think is a reasonable price to set (alongside a few bonus clauses), AND a figure that won't completely scare medium-sized clubs off down South...we should be telling Celtic that we want £4,000,000 off them as additional compensation for selling to a direct competitor. Also, the bit where they've asked to be kept in the loop, my response to that would be 'aye, nae problem Peter, will do mate', before hanging the phone up and muttering, 'f**k you, ya cockend, you'll be getting told nothing'
  2. Ahhh...thats why his eyes are so close together.
  3. Thats it in a nutshell...sitting here laughing at everyone trying to define it, when its easily definable via the use of a good old-fashioned dictionary. To suggest Robertson isn't World Class, is borderline insanity...I'd also argue that at the peak of his powers, Paul Lambert was considered to be 'among the best in the world' in his position.
  4. They're using the space that the authorities clearly want us to use...otherwise they would have closed the road further back
  5. The thing that irritates me most in that circumstance (and it generally happens at rush hour) is the fucknuggets that stop at the slip road when there are literally acres in front of them...in turn, causing a longer tailback than would really be necessary, and hampering junctions and roundabouts at the top of the slip road in the process. You should literally drive all the way to the end of the slip road, as thats what they are for
  6. I'm pretty certain that you should be using the whole length of the slip road
  7. Aye I get that its good for the boy to get a rest, but a cap or two would have done his confidence absolute wonders, it would have also helped enhance any transfer fee potentially. From my point of view, as a Motherwell fan, I love to see guys getting called up for their country, particularly Scotland as its unusual and a bit of an achievement
  8. No, but 51% favouring Parties who believe in Scottish Independence
  9. Hardies shoulders must be louping, with all the 'turning' he'll be doing in his grave...this 'Labour' party are as far removed from the party he founded, as they could just about possibly be.
  10. With Livi, St Mirren, Ross County and Accies in the league this season, the absolute minimum we should be looking at should be an 8th place finish, which should allow us to possibly push the boat out a wee bit and really make an effort for that Top6 place.
  11. I have no idea...Gordon Smith is an old firm fanny, and can get tae f**k
  12. If anybody wants to make their eyes bleed...heres the **** discussing it... https://www.followfollow.com/forum/threads/motherwell-cut-away-fans-allocation.76432/
  13. Agreed...although I'm fairly certain there will be **** and **** in the Copper and East during most OF matches anyway. As long as they don't 'out' themselves, it isn't really a problem and whenever they have done in the past, they've ended up on the wrong side of a sair coupon.
  14. So, the Old Firm (or any visiting fans for the matter) will be housed in the South Stand only from now, due to concerns over segregation and ultimately safety. On the face of it I'm delighted, particularly when we play the Glasgow b*****ds, it will make our own stadium seem, more like our own. What do we think the financial ramifications of this decision actually are?
  15. I like the way he hits the ball while wearing a black strip then runs away celebrating in a completely different strip (Denmark?). Almost as if it's not actually him. I've watched that about 20 times and never noticed that
  16. We've been away from European fitba long enough now, for me to absolutely crave another shot at it... ...Nancy was undoubtedly the best trip all in all, leaving Bellshill at 11pm and driving to Bristol for an early morning flight wasn't my best idea, considering everyone else in the motor was blitzed by the time we passed Larkhall. A few hours in Paris, seeing Claret and Amber clad folk, dotted about all over the place. The square in Nancy was jumping for days, a few pints with John Boyle, emptying a carry-out shop of their last remaining alcoholic beverages...and their one and only trolley. The polis letting off tear gas in the stadium, because a few 'well fans wanted to leave at the final whistle. Everything about the trip was minted. Llanelli, again driving through the night on the Joker bus, to arrive in Llanelli at 6am, already gassed and just kept bevvying, nae idea how I made the game, and then straight back on the bevvy afterwards. Bucharest...traveled myself via Amsterdam, and met mates over there. Again, blitzed (seems to be a recurring theme) for the whole time I was there...City Centre was lovely, but go a few streets out with the centre and it was pretty grim...the polis giving 3 of us a lift to the ground for our own safety. Going to an outdoor nightclub in the middle of a forest, with what appeared to be Romanian gangsters, seems like an even worse idea than driving to Bristol for a flight to Paris. Odense...a bus from Fir Park Club to Denmark...fucking Denmark. Was absolutely brilliant to be honest, literally got to Odense about 3 hours before the game, and straight back on the bus afterwards to come home, but it was worth it to see that Hateley strike in the flesh. A few Motherwell fans lifted in the town centre that day, and one or two in the ground as well. Still feel sorry for the poor bus driver that had to tidy that bus up at the end of that shift. So aye, about time we had another trip...sort it out Robbo p.s. had heard we were signing a Danish international midfielder at the weekend, and was concerned that it might be one of the amateur boys that got capped when the Danes went on strike, so to see the pedigree of the guy we have signed is a bit of a relief.
  17. Yes, thats correct, he finished 7th with WBA and was then sacked...oh, aye, he also coached at Liverpool for a wee while
  18. nope...me too. A lazy, lazy appointment from the SFA, again Clarke has done well with Killie, but if thats the blueprint for success nowadays then we are in bother.
  19. David Tanner was the 'man withe the mic' at Motherwells player of the year do...it was an excruciating listen from the word go, but as the night wore on and David Turnbull won award, after award, Tanners 'patter' and questioning became more and more pathetic.
