Correct, and this would also be correct in this case if tax avoidance was classed as stealing but by law, if this manifested in to full blown tax evasion you aren't charged for theft, I was just using an an analogy, maybe a poor one. I'm not saying what Rangers done was morally correct up on reflection, but morals seem to go out the window with large scale business. My main point was that I don't think the powers at be, meaning the SFA/SPFL and the boards of spfl clubs will full scale peruse the calls for title stripping. Just my opinion though, which doesn't hold much weight on here [emoji23].

48 million over 10 years, prove that SDM couldn't have used his trusty model of over spending to fund that gap. You can't. But where you would be with 48 million you will never know so not worth worrying about. People seem to be bring morals into this, there is no morals in modern football. Most individuals with wealth behind them will be swindling tax money, tax is for common folk like me and you (I'm assuming your not a millionaire). I've heard that Rangers have fucked the NHS and cost British soldiers their lives but if that is true so have many of the football players we support week in week out.

Performance enhancing drugs have been scientifically proven to enhance the performance of the human body beyond its 'natural' capability, no question about it, and therefore anyone caught is bang to rights. The same with match fixing as it can be proven that there was a direct advantage. The above examples really can't be compared to the case in question, and if the said examples were used to form a case for title stripping they would be laughed out of court.

In my opinion, I can't see what legal action would achieve. It would be very hard to to quantify the use of EBT's in that manner into a 'sporting advantage' you can't just say I think they are cheating c***s so strip the titles. It would be a very long process and I'm not sure many clubs (meaning their board not the fans) would have a genuine appetite for it. Could a court prove beyond reasonable doubt that without EBT's we wouldn't have won the titles or prove that a player wouldn't have joined the club without the said EBT's? I think it would be very difficult. The net result of this tax evasion scheme is you are essentially able to pay players more in terms of salary, but so does spending out with your means and then going in to administration which happens throughout football worldwide.

I am hoping that's not the case, we have completed some decent signings in jack, alves and potentially dorrans. But none of these signings would make you think we would be a force in Europe or fully challenge Celtic domestically. -

Pedro is definitely on a shoogly peg that's for sure. But the fact we have backed him in terms of transfer fees we will need to stick with until at least Christmas. So congrats on 7 sorry I mean 3 in a row [emoji6] -

I know you may piss yourself laughing here due to our past finances but surely they weren't banking on European money. Even before last Thursday I thought at best we could get to QR3. Plus I think it's about 200k per round so not astronomical amounts. -

I don't see how anyone can criticize rangers in the McKay sale. He is refusing to sign a new deal. Why pay the wage of a player for 12 months only to lose him on a bosman? -

Even if I go along with the 'new club' stance, I doubt I will have to wait 114 years for a SC win. Plus, joking aside , you must admit he is a weird looking guy? -

For me Barrie Mckay had loads of potential but that is exactly what he is, potential. Its not really materialized as of yet and that became even more apparent when you seen the form of Patrick Roberts at the back end of last season (not easy to admit ). I dont think he will get as much patience from the Nottingham Forest fans as there where many games he was pretty poor for Rangers but he got the benefit of the doubt. Having said that I would still rather keep him as the lad Dalcio didn't exactly set the world on fire the other night, although it is early days. If he doesn't want to be here then it is better for both parties if he moves on, and i think 500k for a inconsistent player with a year left on his contract is fair IMO. -

I think Dorrans will be a good addition if he can stay fit, he has had trouble with injuries recently. Walker and Mclean would be decent signings but I think both Hearts and Aberdeen will make it very difficult to sign them (quite rightly so), with both available to sign a pre-contract in January I would maybe hold out till then. -
