  1. 2 x Tickets for sale Ireland section right next to Scotland fans bought for £140 sell for £90
  2. I think though the level some of the Performance School Graduates get to could be telling. They were started to produce Elite Level players, so hopefully they can do that, one or two already look capable of playing at that level
  3. Slicker had a few dodgy moments first u21 game he played, Archie Mair came in against Kazakhstan and Slicker the played again against Belgium, looked decent in that game, few good stops, quite vocal and looks confident
  4. Don't know why we never sing We have a Dream at Hampden 50,000 belting that out would be helmet raising stuff!
  5. Young Ricky Sbragia disrespect to Carver, what are you even talking about mate. Read the post. Were talking about the U21s not the full squad. I said Scotland U21s should have someone LIKE Shaun Maloney in charge, someone who sees the game plays the game and coaches the game the same way as he does, not the way Gemmil does.
  6. Together in Electric Dreams Du du du du We'll all go together, however far it seems!! Du du du du We'll all dream together, dream together with Sir Steve!!
  7. Almost certainly pay more? Based on what evidence does a Celtic youth coach get paid more than the Scotland u21 manager? I absolutely do not know who gets paid more and neither do you. Managing the Scotland u21s would clearly be an attractive option for an up and coming Scottish coach
  8. Working in the Scottish national team setup does have the same clout for up and coming Scottish coaches though. Listen Maloney's landed a great gig and good on him so there's no reason for him to come to the Scotland youth set up now, his careers going way along a different path now but a few years ago he would have jumped at the chance to manage the U21s. There will be other good young Scottish coaches who see and coach the game the same way as Maloney does who would also jump at the chance to manage the Scotland U21s right now
  9. Brilliant to hear that! Hopefully it's a trend that's carried on throughout schools and leagues in Scotland
  10. What was the Billy Gilmour song they were all singing in Moldova?
  11. I said someone like Shaun Maloney.... someone who sees and coaches the game the same way as Shaun Maloney does
  12. Boney M Rasputin There is a man from Scotland that I know, he is big and hard with eyes a flaming glow! Wingers look at him with terror and with fear but the Scotland fans we all love him dear He's our captain and he is our leader, plays with passion and fire! He crosses the baw, and we score with a heeder, he's the one we all desire!! Ra Ra Robertson super Andy Robertson this is his story and it must be told Ra Ra Robertson super Andy Robertson, the best left back in the world!!!
  13. I just can not fathom the approach our u21 team take. I find it even more difficult to understand when the head of the performance schools Brian McLaughlin who has been telling us for the past few years how the under age groups are changing the way we play the game, a passing style based on technical ability, a style I have witnessed with my own eyes watching u16 up to u19 games, then we hit the 21s and it all goes out the window! Why Gemmil does not carry that style through to the U21s I do not know and why he is being allowed to continue doing so I do not know. We have some great technical players who can play proper football but the only tactic he had last night was knock the ball over the top for Middleton to chase! We need a seriously good coach at u21 level who can teach the boys about positioning and movement and patterns of play, Gemmil is miles of it and essentially throwing everything these boys have been learning previously out the window. He needs called out on this, someone like Shaun Maloney would be perfect for the u21s
