  1. Looking for a job there Stevie? Trying to butter up the bears so that he can convince them to sign him maybe?
  2. It's definitely on my bucket list
  3. I've never been down that far in Croatia but enjoyed Split when I went in 2008. If you will have a car I suggest driving down the coast into Montenegro and the Bay of Kotor, my sister went there a few years ago and said it's really beautiful and like an hours drive from Dubrovnik
  4. I think it's time to bring this clip back I have some American relatives who essentially believe along these lines
  5. Here is another one Road rage incident sees a man fatally shoot a woman http://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-40461716 I'm a lot closer geographically to you guys, the gun culture down there is fucked up
  6. Just a minor complaint, but it was way too hard to find St. Johnstone's result on the BBC Scottish football page. Sevco's was front story
  7. He's 19 and described as a box to box midfielder. Looking forward to seeing how he does.
  8. Funny how Billy Davies is also managing Sevco in my Scottish save. Oh speaking of which, I had a regen player named Aaron O'Connor score 60 goals in all competitions for my Celtic team in season 2025-26, including 4 in a game against Sevco. Also Scotland made it to the final of the 2026 World Cup, losing against Belgium. Pretty far fetched World Cup seeing as Canada made it to the Semi-Final.
  9. I think Brendan is just giving Anton some time to get fit while he looks for a club and a few of the other midfielders in the squad were carrying knocks so Brendan decided to give him some practice time. Realistically Anton isn't Celtic material but he could be a decent pickup for other SPFL clubs or he could head back to English League One or Two
  10. If we have to, I guess. In all seriousness I think that GMS could be a solid signing for you guys. He's not quite Celtic material but I think he would be a top player for most other Premiership teams.
  11. There is no shortage of rumours mate, however I agree that the lack of movement is worrisome. I fear that Brendan and the board are not on the same page in regards to how much the club should be willing to spend on a player.
  12. Also apparently Celtic are trying to sign Barry Douglas from Konyaspor?
  13. I'm curious as to how Celtic will be able to move on some of the dead weight. All seems to have gone quiet on Gary Mackay-Steven's rumoured move to Sheffield United while Nadir Cifcti has been left out of the training camp squad. There are also serious question marks about the future of Saidy Janko.
  14. The problem with Roma or Lazio is that the Olimpico is too big for the support. I went to a Lazio game in 2008 when I was in Italy and although there were close to 30,000 people there it seemed overly cavernous. The Lazio ultras made a good atmosphere though
  15. Apparently Andy Halliday is going to sign for a team in Azerbaijan? Fair play to Pedro for convincing another team to take him off his hands, maybe he sent them tapes from 2015-16 claiming they were from last year.
  16. Dave King is Scottish football's comedy gift that keeps on giving. Jeebus that's incredible
  17. Welcome to Ottawa! How long are you in our capital for?
  18. Match ended 2-2, decent entertainment although the quality of play wasn't amazing. Interesting that Ottawa's manager is Kenny Dalglish's son Paul and the goalie coach is Bruce Grobbelaar, the same Bruce Grobbelaar who played for Liverpool in the 80's and 90's
  19. Here is our other cat, Ivan. He's still a kitten, only 4 months old but has a really long tail lol
  20. I'm thinking of heading over to see Ottawa Fury vs New York Red Bulls II tomorrow if the weather is good. I like football (not as much as Rab Nesbit) but the stadium isn't covered so if it's raining I'll probably pass.
  21. Agreed, especially considering that there was no recall or known defect with that brand or model.
  22. If Celtic should have been farther ahead then is he admitting that his players were more shite than first thought? If the gap should have been bigger then why did he sack Warbo, he must have been doing something right. Without awarding 4 points for a win the only way the gap would be bigger is if Sevco won fewer games.
  23. 100% agree about the headline, the fridge is by no means the important item in the story, it's the cladding.
