Easy solution if the “old squad “ members are not happy. Ask to be released, some might be others may not.

Hendo, stu and gilly were already signed on extended contracts as you should know. Last 2 games gilly has played at left back. The boy Sloan is not a centre mid either. This close season we have signed 3 centre midfielders. Anyway hope you get a start on Saturday and can prove the manager wrong , you can get another score a week we can save some dough and mibbae Girvan will have a starting 11 signed for the start of the Ardagh

I would call it either shit stirring from other clubs, which is fine because it’s banter. Or small mindedness if it’s from a current player, which imo as I have said is pretty poor to air grievances on social media.

So are you scunnered because of the money? Or is it the competition for places? No offence to any of the squad from last year but it was obvious we need to strengthen to progress as the finishing place in the table doesn’t lie.

Plenty happening off the park. Lots of work being done by the support to raise funds. The results should be seen in the next 6-8 weeks.

Hardly spent a penny on players last year. It showed we had to strengthen and we have done, I don’t see the problem with that.

Doesn’t matter what level of pro football all players do not get paid the same and that is a fact. I think it’s pretty poor that a current player of any team would come out on social media and and air any greviances. If indeed it is a current player.

Imo last year was a steep learning curve for players and supporters, I think us supporters were given a reality check on our aspirations.

From a supporters point of view no matter what team you support you want to see your team progressing. To do that at any level you have to bring in potentially better players in the managers eyes and that in turn probably means you will pay more money. Looks like so far we have brought in 2 experienced players and 2 younger guys, the boy from shettleston was impressive when he played against us and probably gave Walshy more trouble than most last year. You know you are always welcome at recreation park Kp.

Ex Whitletts. That might be a problem for Whitletts fans but definately not for us Darvel one’s. New signings ticking along nicely at recreation park and training going well.

That’s him, I believe there was at least one premier team interested. Good enough to have a contract at Motherwell and Ayr only 3/4 seasons ago.

Yes it is. Comfortable on the ball and a threat going forward, possibly a bit lightweight at this stage of his development but he’s just a boy. Heard Troon offered him silly money.
