  1. Tom Lang - 0/10 - an unfair score but we have seen none of him since he played 45 mins in a preseason friendly versus Hibs? By all accounts has done alright at Clyde on loan Aaron Comrie - 8/10 - Mr Consistent, rarely makes mistakes or misplaces passes, at championship level he has been a very accomplished full back, no doubt an upgrade on Ryan Williamson Paul Paton - 7/10 - Not the fastest and I was unsure of him signing given his age and recent career history. Has turned out to be an influential captain who battles in midfield and plays a decent pass, every Scottish championship team needs a midfielder like him. Ryan Dow - 8/10 - Had a flying start to the season, a winger that could cross, take on a man and made good decisions, something we've lacked in recent seasons also has experience at a high level. Pleased to have him for another season. Kyle Turner - 6.5/10 - A difficult one, played really well at the start of the season and his talent was really shining through, had a difficult spell at the end of 2019 where he became a scapegoat, has had a decent start considering he's taken the step up from Stranraer, hoping he really kicks on next season (whenever that happens). Ethan Ross - 3/10 - never really played enough to show his ability, looked okay in brief glimpses and clearly has technical ability but often gave the ball away cheaply. Euan Murray - 6/10 - should be higher in rating but had no luck with injuries this season, had a great start to the season whilst also being a real threat from set pieces which we haven't had from a defender in recent times. Hopefully no more injuries for him. Owain Fon Williams - 7/10 - An obvious upgrade from Scully and Gill, but still didn't have an awful lot of time in the team and wasn't tested all that often. Despite only being a loan his fundraising for the club during this crisis is superb, a standout guy. Josh Coley - 3/10 - Seemed to be a bit of a gamble on loan from Norwich, looks to have talent but is still extremely raw, the move didn't really work out for him or the club but wish him all the best, needs development at a lower level. Anthony McDonald - 0/10 - a weird one considering we signed him whilst he was injured? Was excited about him but injuries didn't allow him to have any sort of role in the team before he went back to hearts. Harry Cochrane - 5/10 - Disappointed as I thought he'd be superb in the team, has clear technical ability but didn't take enough of a grip of games, can play a pretty pass but expected him to show a bit more considering how he's been touted the past couple years. Gabby McGill - 5/10 - This has been a development season for the lad, certainly not the quickest but has shown signs for improvement later on in the season, works extremely hard, just needs to hone his skills, seems a natural finisher in the reserves just can't quite translate that yet in the first team. Jonathan Afolabi - 6/10 - Delighted we got him in January, since Nisbet had no real backup considering Andy Ryan was sent out on loan we needed another fast, physical front man Afolabi fits the bill. Clearly fast and strong shame the season ended early as I was eager to see how he'd finish the season with Nisbet being injured. Dom Thomas - 9/10 - suits our system better than Kiltie did despite perhaps not being as good a player? Pacey and direct with an eye for a goal, a standout at this level and someone I hope we can try and get back. Kevin Nisbet - 10/10 - Does this need any explanation? Wanted by a number of clubs now it will be interesting to see how his summer develops. Dylan Duncan - 0/10 - Never played Josh Edwards - 6/10 - Young talent brought in at Left back where I thought he did okay, still has a lot to learn but does the fundamentals pretty well. Greg Kiltie - 8/10 - despite not really being a natural winger did well for us and provided plenty of creativity in the team he's been able to break back into the Kilmarnock team since going back there so the loan was good for both teams.
  2. Definitely not a penalty, too soft. But if you don't give that, there's no way you can give the foul against Afolabi, he simply out muscles him fairly. Graham fouls Fon Williams which is pretty clear from the video when he looks at him then runs into him, then he's offside. 3 really poor refereeing decisions there, we haven't had much rub of the green from them this season...
  3. I'd say a point was pretty fair, Arbroath better in the 1st half, ourselves better in the 2nd. Ref was genuinely baffling, Paton gets tripped, he initially shakes his head, then gives him the foul? Afolabi booked for jumping late despite it happening on both sides all night, just no consistency. A very physical game with not a lot of quality in the final third.
  4. Seemed to do something to his ankle, although he's played it down since but id be surprised if Crawford risks him up at Arbroath. Last time at Gayfield we had McCann and Coley on the wings, those positions should be considerably upgraded this time around. Hopefully we've also learnt the lesson from hoofball when it's windy... We picked up a few knocks so it's really anyone's guess what the lineup will be come Wednesday night.
  5. Reading the comments from Queens fans pretty much sums up AJ during his time with us in the championship. Organisation issues defensively and baffling selections. Great win for the pars and the most divisive players in our team in Ashcroft, Devine and McGill all score, football is a funny game...
  6. I would be highly surprised if he did. Our two other strikers are totally unproven youngsters, so we'd need a replacement lined up. We also can't be sent a player on loan as a makeweight, so the offer would need to be pretty high and we aren't really under pressure to sell with 18 months on his contract.
  7. Should be an upgrade on scully. But to be fair to Gill we've won the last four games he's been in goal for us. Would be harsh to drop him unless his performance drops no?
  8. I'd have Morrison ahead of Devine any day of the week. He had one or two bad games, notably against United but let's be honest when has a centre half had a good game for us against them? Other than that he's at least got room for development, devine is just p***. I just don't understand why we continue playing the Ashcroft and Devine combo when it hasn't worked for two seasons. That Arbroath away game earlier in the season was up there with one of the worst performances I've seen from a Dunfermline player.
  9. Think people are harsh on Gill, he's still extremely young and inexperienced and probably should've been loaned out at the start of the season to a team where he'd get a start, with us having Scully as a backup. I see no upside to starting Scully, we know what his ability is and he's not going to drastically improve. Gill has years of development left in him and many of the problems he's had this season are coachable errors. That being said he's not a championship level keeper. If we manage to find a good keeper during the window we could see performances improve. As well as shot stopping and claiming crosses, that also puts confidence in defenders not to do stupid things. I think that plays a part certainly with Ashcroft who almost tries to do too much at times due to his lack of confidence in the keeper.
  10. We sign Dom Thomas on loan from Killie. Interesting we essentially swapped him for Kiltie
  11. Keena did okay for us, considering how poor a team we had last season. Think he could've done a job in this squad, hopefully with Ryan and the loanees going Crawford has something lined up to replace these guys. I agree Anderson was probably an all round better player. Eager to see who we bring in to replace the losses we've had on the playing staff
  12. Aidan Keena signs for Hartlepool United on a permanent deal. Oh well
  13. Kevin Clancy was laughably bad. Forster should've been off on a couple of occasions (although that may have helped Dundee), I thought both sides could've had a penalty. Nisbet clearly two handed shoved a player in the back at the end of the game which we won a throw in off of. Really don't understand what these referees are watching sometimes.
  14. Steven Bell looked like he was destined for the top of Scottish football tbh. He had all the right attributes, technically, physically to succeed. But injuries really took their toll on him unfortunately. Similar to Ryan Wallace who was in great form before his injuries. As for team of the decade a midfield pairing of bit Nate and BMMMH would strike fear into the prime Barca midfield [emoji1787]
  15. Hence why it was a question, no need for the snark buddy, we're all supporting the same hot pile of garbage [emoji1787]
  16. For me, the instability of sacking Crawford and just aimlessly hoping a new manager (are people seriously suggesting Yogi and McKinnon?!?) Is too risky. We are in a very tight league but for me Crawford has recruited well and we will be fine this season. I think adding a new striker and winger would benefit us in January if possible. If McDonald manages to get fit I think that'll have an impact, and if we can get Murray back we can be a threat from set pieces hopefully. We are just missing a Moffat type imo up front, someone who will come back and do the dirty work to set up for a strike partner. I just don't feel Ryan or Nisbet can play like that. Unless we are rock bottom at Christmas I'd be surprised if we changed manager.
  17. Trying to think of some that haven't been mentioned already. Winning 2-1 away at Ayr when Cardle was sent off felt brilliant (I also love winter away matches when it's Baltic). Think Hoppy had one of, if not his best game off the bench and his pace tore them to shreds. Obviously a few downs but we've had our share of ups since 2015 and the club has stabilised somewhat as we look to develop a younger crop of players for the future
  18. Conditions were definitely a huge factor in the game at Gayfield. We were hugely naive and played entirely into Arbroath's hands. Take nothing away from Arbroath who were well organised and have proved so far this season they will not be the whipping boys of the league as some may have predicted. Having said that I'm confident if we play our own game at EEP with the attacking players we have we should be able to break them down. Defensively I'm not too worried, as long as Gill can learn from his mistakes against United.
  19. No problem neebs, I'll always be a Par. Thought I did a banging job dismantling that Kirkcaldy mob from the inside...
  20. Only (trying to say that with a straight face) £22/£11 if you order online and print out the tickets. So saves you money over PATG and you can choose your seats as well.
  21. Has McCann been given many opportunities as a striker in a 442? My only change would probably be McGill out, although I suspect Craw might just keep the same team. This back four has done well thus far, midfield I don't see any need to change, we have to keep up the attacking threat of Kiltie and Dow on the wings. Up front is the controversial one, Nisbet for me needs a strike partner to be fully effective it's just about who can take their chance to play up top with him. For me so far neither Ryan or McGill have shown enough to start with him. 3 points is a must if we want to get ourselves back in a competitive position in the league.
