Also note that i know some of the players listed (Louis Moult for example) were near the end of their contract when they were sold/transferred. I bet we could have gotten more for Moult if he had an extra year or so left on his contract. Maybe we could have won the Scottish Cup that year if we had kept him. An absolute fantastic job by the club in both developing players and then selling for an appropriate price. (Now sign Alan Campbell on a 5 year contract ASAP).

yeah, but the highest co-efficient of the teams involved has to be within the top 26. Otherwise they would be considered as unseeded. There are 13 teams entering this stage along side 3 champions league drop outs and the 36 winners of the 2nd Round. We would have to get a team at least 7.220 and hope that the draw is kind to us.

Just to let everyone know, Celtic have a chance to skip the 3rd Qualifying round of the Europa League and go to the Play off Round. This year only 8 out of the 10 Champions League 2nd Qualifier round (Champions Path) will go into the Europa League 3rd Qualifying round (Champions Path). The 10 teams will be put into a draw and the first 2 out will skip the 3rd round and be placed in the play off. The draws for the Europa League 2nd and 3rd Qualifying round will take place on the 31st August and 1st September respectively so we will know which stage Celtic will be in by Tuesday.

Im assuming it would be through the club PPV system with season ticket holders getting a free stream. Aberdeens game is on Premier Sports at the same time so i doubt they will be showing our game and BT dont really bother with the qualifiers unless its an english team like Spurs.
