  1. TBF you would never guess in a million years that we would be able to do a throw in like that. Usually we would take 3-4 minutes before lumping in back to the opposition goalkeeper.
  2. WTF is lamie doing???? he lost the balll around 4 times withing a few seconds.nearly conceded a second there.....
  3. Seedorf and turnbull. If you said that at the start of last season, no one would believe you!
  4. Confirmation that the game against Celtic on the 29th has been moved to the 30th to accomindate our Europa League Fixture on the 27th. I was getting a bit worried that it would remain on that date and give use a further disadvantage.
  5. It appears that last nights thundwrstorm has Impacted Fir Park. Straight for Alan: The game is likely to still be played FYI.
  6. Great Draw. I can see us winning this if we manage to get some good performances and results during our next few games. Shame that no fans can be allowed in the stadium.
  7. Just to Clarify the Europa League 1st Round Draw, teams have being grouped into regional groups. This method is to help prevent issues with travel for the teams involved. As a result, Aberdeen and Motherwell are in the same group and are seeded. They could play 1 of 3 team (2 of which involve teams in the preliminary round). These teams range from Iceland, Faroe Islands, Wales or Northern Ireland. Please note that the team drawn first will be the home team for the 1 legged tie. I have listed the entire group down below. Group 4 Seeded 1 Aberdeen (SCO) 2 Rosenborg (NOR) 3 Motherwell (SCO) Unseeded 4 Breidablik (ISL) 5 NSÍ Runavík (FRO)/Barry Town United (WAL) 6 Glentoran (NIR)/HB Tórshavn (FRO) You can watch the draw here: https://www.uefa.com/uefaeuropaleague/draws/2021/2001236/ If Aberdeen Makes it through to the next round, then they will be seeded. If Motherwell makes it through, then they will be unseeded and have a high chance of facing Tottenham in the 2nd Round.
  8. I hope we get a home tie. It will be an extremely winnable tie if thats the case. The issue with these regional group pots is 8f we make it then there is a high chance we could play spurs. Also will this be streamed to season ticket holders and PPV?
  9. Therea also the possibility that we could go through without kicking the ball. The draw will take into conisderation the current travel quarrintines/exceptions for each country that have to be submitted today. This means it further limits who we can actually play. The issue with this is if the away team are unable to travel due to the home teams country restricting it, it is up to the home team to arrange a neutral venue in another country. This is ok for teams like rangers and celtic who could afford it but we would be screwed if this was the case. On the opposite side, we could go through against an extremely hard opponent if they have to face this. I am hoping we get one of the welsh or northern irish teams atvhome as that would be the best result on paper. There is a higher chance that we could get Tottenham in the 2nd round due to all of this but you have to remember that the 2nd round takes just after the premier league starts again so we may be in a much better state to play them at home (assuming we do make a killy of the first round).
  10. honestly he wasnt in the game that much. But thats more down to pur "Great" strategy of just lunping balls into the box with 1 or 2 well plays and 5-6 opposition players. He had a good freekick that made the Utd keeper produce a great save.
  11. We look like a team of players who have just met before the game with no real game plan. Points that i can see are: 1. Defensively not marking properly. Allowing players to get into spaces and having chances will always put pressure on the keeper and result in a goal. Reynolds was effectively unmarked at the back post for his goal but there was definetly a Well player their (cant remember who). 2. Lack of Movement. Everytime i see us in the midfield it usually results in us stopping the ball, passing it back or putting the ball into no mans land. No movement or urgency which reqay kills off any potential opportunites. 3. Passing. It has been woeful. So many miss placed passes or crosses that end up giving possession away and putting the pressure back onto us. 4. Lack of goal scoring opportubities. Nearly every chance to score has been terrible. Missing sitters or just not connecting with the ball or running into the opposition means we wont win any game. Really Robinson need to figure out his starting 11 quickly or risk us being left behind at the bottom of the table. My expectations this seasonnwere to finish above the bottom 2 at the minimum (like with most seasons) but the last 10 or so performances make me worried. It looks like Robinson has just bought a bunch of players with no idea what to do with them and that leads to problems. In other news. The Europa league 1st round draw is on Monday so we maybe see who will be knocking us out on the 27th.
  12. Did they even check the audio? Isnt that one of the first things you do when starting a stream?
  13. Well, it appears that someone within out squad had a false positive. Theh will isolate for 7 days so they will moss yodays game against Dundee United. No name as of yet but we might be able to decide it from todays line-up. https://www.motherwellfc.co.uk/2020/08/08/club-update-on-covid-19-testing/
  14. Just reconfirmed by the club that it is still on 3pm and via livestream/PPV For any dundee united or well fan who wants to use the PPV then i would suggest signing up now to avoid any potential delays tonorrow.
  15. Just to let everyone know, if you want to watch the Motherwell vs Dundee United match via the Pay Per View service, you will need to sign up for a MotherwellTV account in advance. I would suggest doing this in advance of the game so that you are set and don't account any issues. It cost £12 in case you missed it. Here is the link containing more info and the MotherwellTV link: https://www.motherwellfc.co.uk/2020/08/05/next-up-dundee-united/.
  16. Motherwell have put up an update for the match live stream. It simply is a matter of clicking the link and choosing the Pay Per View option. Hope this helps for those who want to watch the match. https://www.motherwellfc.co.uk/2020/08/05/next-up-dundee-united/ Edit i do believe you have to sign up for a MotherwellTv account (and cannot be bought right now)
  17. Seems like there will be a live stream test today between 5pm and 8pm on the live.motherwellfc.co.uk page. Guess they want to be double sure thaf the live stream goes well after the rangers test.
  18. Yeah, the service they are using to live stream the match is the same streaming platform for overseas fans. Before the whole COVID-19 Situation, UK and ireland would only get audio commentary of games while the rest of the world got the full stream. They are using this full stream for season ticket holders and PPV customers so you should be fine.
  19. When Seedorf is you best player, youve got to look at yourselves in the mirror. Well done to county though. They played really well but i think our lack of quality may have made them look much better by comparison.
