  1. Is that true? I assumed it was only the Champions league qualifiers that could be moved and that europa league fixtures wouldbonly be moved if 2 clubs within the same location are due to play at home (i.e. if both celtic and rangers were at home fornthe same europe league qualifier stage then one would be moved to wednesday) I just assumed it would definetly be on thursday with the current list of potential opponments.
  2. It is likely that our game against celtic on the 29th August will be pushed back to the 30th. We are due to be playing a Europa league qualifier so i am really bemused why this hasnt been taken into consideration (Aberdeens game has and our game isnt even being televised).
  3. Surely the celtic game on August 29th will have to be moved? We have our Europa league game on the 27th and if thats away then howwould we even be prepared for it?
  4. I was thinking about the fee we agreed. I believe it was supposed to be spread over a number of seasons, so there may be some money that is still due to be paid. With administration this may affect that fee.
  5. It seems that Wigan have went into administration. I wonder how this will affect any transfer fees for Kipre? Right now they get a 12 point deduction so they are now bottom of the championship, 4 points from safety with 6 games to go. They are one of the best performers over the last period (7 games without conceding i think) but how will this affect the team? How will this affect any transfer fees assuming we are still due some money) or sell on fees? I have no clue how any of this works but it is certainly an interesting topic.
  6. Hopefully whoever has caught the virus is going to make a full recovery. I wish him all the best. Just imagine if the season had been extended and it resulted in multiple (or the whole Aberdeen squad) self isolating? Thankfully we don't have to face this prospect.
  7. What i am hopeful for is a good run in the Europa League. We have a great squad as well as a few more advantages than we would have previously: Our season will be at least 3-4 games in before our first match. Much better than just starting with the European match and end up getting pumped out (Looking at the Stjarnan games...). 1 legged matches could be in our favour. Less risk of just waiting it out. Games should be played as a cup final each. 4 Cup finals and we get into the group stage. I have a much better feeling for this season compared to previous seasons (even last season!).
  8. Just confirmed on Sportscene that the Betfred cup will still have a group stage, which the European teams will avoid.
  9. It appears that the SPFL board has sent a resolution to clubs seeking temporary Covid-19 powers. I for one agree to give Senator Doncaster these emergency powers in order to combat these Separatists disagreements that is preventing the league from avoiding the negative aspects of the COVID-19 virus. 10. Just announced that Motherwell are going to do the "Fan cardboard cut out" for the closed door games. £22 and your cutout will be positioned in an area that will most likely will be seen via any live stream/televised game. Direct Link here: https://forms.aurabrands.com/aura/form/motherwellfc/formperma/Aa7W8MFKI3juaAN74lZcI1NFZfmUm1t3WTdH7cgTWSE Edit: you will also get to keep your cutout once games are reopened.
  11. Yeah, every argument he can provide can easily been negated but the BBC are doing nothing....
  12. "What did the clubs expect Hearts and Partick to do?" What about all of the other clubs Tom????
  13. This audio review over the Hearts is possibly the best thing they have delivered in a while (even though that its a low barrier).
  14. ah. I assumed that they had a written agreement. It has been a long time and i was only a kid at the time.
  15. Dont forget the season before that where Falkirk were denied promotion for the same reason (stadium doesnt meet minimum requirements) which resulted in Motherwell staying up.
  16. It appears that a Well fan who contracted COVID-19 in Vietnam piloting for Vietnam Airlines has made an amazing recovery.
  17. If the Quarantine is still in affect by the end of August and we get a home game, what would happen to the away team? or vis versa? Would we have to go to the game in advance and have the previous game postponed? Also when is the draw? Still many questions to be asked.
  18. Are they taking this to the Court of Abritration of Sport? Inthough that was the only route in these matters that prevents team from being potentially expelled by thier FA? Still havent heard anything about what Hearts (and now Partick) are sueing for.
  19. Cant see this going through until at least next season. With Aberdeen and Ross county most likely to vote against this change (and potentially Hamilton, Hibernian and St Mirren) i doubt this would be changed, especially since it is very close to the new season. I still believe Motherwell would vote against this as well due to the nature of the 7/7 split coming in earlier in the season, which has not been addressed in anyway. This is really just a continuation of the saga that will most likely not end even by Monday.
  20. The club has just announced the 19/20 season ticket refund plan. Basiclly you can claim for 4/19 of the season tickets cost back through a bank transfer or in person (once the ticket office is safe to do so). What is interesting however is that if you decide to forgo the refund (the total amount owed is around £130,000) then Motherwell can claim the VAT back as it would be considered a donation ( around £22,000 total). Heres the direct link: https://www.motherwellfc.co.uk/2020/06/10/2019-20-season-ticket-refunds/
  21. I do believe this Colts idea would be dead in the water? I doubt you would get the 11-1 within the premiership to vote for it and even the champion ship could vote against it due to the devaluing of the prize funds. I would certainly want Motherwell to vote against any Colts team set-up.
  22. Regarding the Motherwell end their are a few options available for games that Season ticket owners could not visit due to the COVID-19 Situation. They can have the equivalent amount of games credited off of their season ticket when they renew for the 21/22 season They can have the equivalent amount of match tickets for games in the 21/22 season. With this in mind, they will most likely just sell the season tickets as normal next year, with the current years season ticket holders being compensated instead (If they choose to). I am not sure how St Mirren deal with their season tickets but i guess it will be up to the club and their current situation at the end of the 20/21 season.
  23. Motherwell just confirmed that their season ticket holders will get access to their live streams at no additional cost.
