Some bloke off Twitter speculated the value in Danish money and it's grown legs. I'd be disappointed if County spent that much on Mikkelsen (although I guess it's just the Brian Graham fee from Hibs). I'm amazed County are offering their record fee (by some distance, too) for Draper when Nick Ross is available for free, but it sounds like a hundred grand will get him, and it also sounds very much like he'll be a County player next season.
500,000 danish krones or something like that I saw which is around 50,000 in GBP0 -
That should be it as far as our pursuit of Draper goes. No way we should be spending close to 100k on him. The squad is crying out for some creativity, I would far rather money was spent on some wingers/attacking midfielders.
How much did we spend on Mikklesen btw? Can't find the figure.
I think it was around 50k. It was either just under it or just over it.0 -
Thank you for the updates. How were Dykes and Morrison, did we stick to a 352?
Not sure mate haha just saw it on twitter and saw that nobody else had updated so thought to share incase anyone missed but by all cases it seems like it was fairly comfortable win against a half decent team. Game Thursday now against French side Valenciennes...0 -
Full time 5-3 County good to see new signings Mikkelsen and Lindsay grabbing goals

MehCounty signing klaxon!!!!111
Max Ashmore has left the South Side of Glasgow to join Ross County. He's a 20 year old central midfielder signed for the first team.
He'd best be wonderful.
Hear Ye, Hear Ye.
Just searched the guy up on google, only things coming up is that he was lucky to be booked for pulling James McFadden's shorts down during and under 20's game, dear dear0 -

It's been on the cards since his contract extension last January. I was pretty confident he'd stay in the subsequent windows but this looked like the time he would move on - who knew he'd end up the league's top scorer though.
In light of that, if McIntyre hasn't been planning for this event then he will be very negligent. Jackson Irvine was sold last summer in mid-July and was never suitably replace, but at least that was later in the transfer window.
I think we got away with not replacing Irvine but if we don't replace Boyce for me there's no question that we'll be finishing last0 -
We'll survive... maybe?? *bites his lip and tries not to cry*

Matt Green seems styled like Lyle Taylor, as a handful with pace and aggression. His big chance at Birmingham was hampered by being out injured for most of his spell there. He has spent the majority of his career in the Conference.
These Twitter rumours are all coming from the same account yeah? It said that Hendrie was possibly joining on loan on the same day it was reported that Hendrie was released.
Meekings would be a great signing on its own merits, but there are plenty defenders at the club already, several of whom can cover more than one position.
I would just love to see meekings sign to see what those over the bridge would react like0 -
He scored 13 league goals last season, assuming he'll probably be a replacement for Boyce, which pains me to see but it's inevitable at the end of the day
In terms of a central midfielder, I think that Stefen Scougall would've been a good signing but St Johnstone got there first, county apparently interested in a young Sunderland midfielder on loan
For a winger I'd like to see another Ivan Sproule player, someone who can change the game in a split second, no suggestions on that front though0 -
Seeing on twitter that apparently Josh Meekings' agent is trying to force a move to County... can't tell if I'm happy about this or not, thoughts?
Also reported to be interested in former West Ham and Hamilton full back Stephen Hendrie and deemed to be in contract talks with former Mansfield Town striker Matt Green0 -

Pretty sure I saw somewhere McIntyre wanted only 2

A player I'd like to see more involved in the first team is young Davis Keillor-Dunn
Watched him against Hamilton u20's in the big development side match at GES and he looked (bar Schalk) the only competent player that night
Good turn of pace, agile, skill full and has a good bit of flair, would add a different dimension while not costing a penny0 -
Frees up the door for Luke Leahy now surely?

Could be crap but I'm seeing on twitter that County beat St Mirren 5-1 in the behind closed doors game last night. Pre-season friendly I know but good result either way.
