Agreed, possession doesn't say much. When in possession, Kelty were far more dangerous and created far more than LHTV. Despite them having the entire second half (until the 3-1 in stoppage time) to equalise, they never looked like they were doing it. I guess as a supporter you were still very nervous, but for me as a neutral I never really had any doubt who would win the game.

Yip was nervous but a few beers settled them mate , hope you enjoyed your day

You can't disagree with LTHV manager that fatigue played its part (6 games in 11 days - of course it did), but the reasons behind why they had to do so are there for all to see and no one else's fault but their's.

As for being the better football teaming, I think the goals for column in the league speaks volumes. I was at the match on Saturday and I kind of thought LTHV were worthy of a point in the end as they had a lot more possession in the second half. That said they did lack a cutting edge - perhaps because of fatigue, or perhaps they just don't have the same cutting edge Kelty do, as the goals for column would suggest.

Nope fatigue perhaps did kick in but they didn’t deserve a draw for one long range shot in second half , they had a bit more possession but only because kelty didn’t need to chase the game and they failed to make any in roads with it imo

  3. Comments are totally disrespectful imo Kelty by far a better footballing team , LtHv good at getting a lead and holding on to it but that’s about it , any respect I had is gone for them unfortunately, all the best to them on their tattie field next season and see what excuses pour in when Bonnyrigg win the league

  4. It’s gonna be a tough one , totally pray that kelty do it but Lthv are nae mugs and are somewhat of a bogey team for kelty at the moment but law of averages n that , well who knows ?? Just know the kelty boys will go out and do best they can like every other match and wish them awe the best whatever the result , it’s been a great journey so far in first Eosl season

Same with them in Scotland as south of the border then... I remember reading a negative article about the facilities of a local 9th tier club near where I lived at the time (Derby). For a tiny club with an average attendance of around 100 the facilities there are quite decent. You can hardly expect a Conference standard ground...

I'm planning to go on Saturday. Haven't been to Kelty yet, so it will be another new ground for me. Looking forward to it. Are there any decent bars near the ground for a pre-match drink?

Get a drink at the park

Hear manager in Evening news saying East of Scotland F.a. want to help KeltyHearts F.c. win and hit Lothian Thistle F.c. for Scottish Cup run.

That’s a lot of ******** IMO kelty haven’t needed any help to get where they are from league , not Keltys fault LTHV have a backlog of fixtures wtf is manager on about ??

  7. Inverkeithing Hillfield would be a great addition , good setup with potential for strong fan base , mind of watching the ammy team play st andrews at Auchtermuchty in some cup final years ago , think they brought 3 or 4 double deckers of supporters , ( st andrews won though ) but all the same sure a good support would be welcome at any home teams ground

  8. Good luck Dalkeith,  another welcome addition and hopefully the whole setup runs like Keltys infrastructure, can't believe they have managed to get the whole community together under one roof instead of about 10 different youth , amateur and Sunday league teams all raking around for cash the changes and Buzz in the community has been amazing and seeing kids n parents walking around the village in their Kelty tops instead o rangers n celtic is a sight to behold
