I'm not 100% on Clarke but he's young, has pulled off a few worldies and Timmins has improved every keeper we have had in his time at the club, if we retain those 4 especially Dowdes it's a great start just need to look at the central midfielders full backs and another striker hopefully they will provide the pace and quality that Brown talked about.

Timmins back is brilliant, seems to have been a massively popular figure behind the scenes, looks like he has a genuine affection for the club and reading the VOR article also looks like him and Brown have hit it off hopefully it's the start of a lot of positive news over the summer

Anyway back for Charlie now Timmins is back?. There is a very good goal keeper there who did his best work under Timmins or is it down to other stuff not just form.

He's one of those that when he played for you you can forgive the over the top challenges and big man attitude but when he's against you, you see it for all the fake hard man he is, as previously stated the St Johnstone game where we were one nill up and looking very good and he gets sent of for the most stupid of tackles is a reason and the going down like he had been shot by a sniper at Somerset last season when Dipo hardly touched him stick out

With Sanders we do need to rember he had not played a lot of football this season maybe just took him a bit of time to get back up to speed, if you'd asked me after the Raith game if I wanted him to stay it would have been a no but now I'd be quite happy to see him to sign permanently

Actually looking forward to this most of the pressure off both teams though they will want to win for a higher league position and prize money but it will feel good not being have the anxiety of this is a must win game that's been there for the last 4 months, can see Brown starting a few of the young guys like McRoberts and Tomlinson knowing the pressure is off them.

The fact we can still actually finish 5th this season is absolutely madness the championship is bat shit crazy.

I'm still convinced he will go with a 3 at the back and wing backs next season and that's where the pace will come in, Sila and Dempsey can cover those more Defensive Midfielders but I would like a good hard midfielder in the mold of Brown himself in there, we need a creative midfielder who can put his foot on the ball and make something happen a Cammy Smith type and maybe some one to come in for Murphy at that 60 minute mark but we might have that in Franny, Would be happy with the centre backs we have as long as we invest in those wing backs. 40 games 25 goals for York think he's had a few injuries though.

TBF to Brown he's kept us up with a game to spare with basically the same squad that I think would have finished 10th under Bullen, big transfer window coming up if we want to push on next season.

I'm hoping that the infrastructure part of the 5 year plan is now in the end game and we can look to now put the playing part more on the front foot, I'm not saying Smith is going to start throwing money about but some investment to make the team worthy of the new stand.

It does come across that with the success the academy has has off the field with the UEFA award they are desperate to see that reflected on the field as well either it's Bryden, Mackenzie beeing shoehorned in to any position or the desperation to make young Tomlinson a full back, let it happen naturally and if we find a gem great, at the moment the two best prospects look like Ollie Ecrepont or Dylan Watret both who look like they have had productive loans at East Stirlingshire.

Just seen the goal from yesterday Clark needs to do better and hold that IMO, wee bit worried if he's the target to be number 1 next year, Mutch is not much better and I think we are still a year out from Ecrepont beeing more than the cup keeper.

It's does not need to be a complete rebuild as long as the players that come in are of a better standard that the ones leaving I'd rather have 4 or 5 quality additions to compliment the players we have than 10 of the same quality that's already here.

We also have Whittaker who was a very good defender in his day to coach the back line Brown can coach the midfield and bring in McFadden to coach the strikers and we are all set (tongue in cheek here)

Sanders might actually work quite well in a back five as the right side of the three center backs, has a bit of pace, can pick out pass if Brown can coach out the brain farts (the send goal against Raith is a stand out for me) he could do well.
