Being positive, honestly I'd take 8th right now but we have a settled squad and with a few additions McRorie, Murdoch and Harvey I think we can do better than settle for a relegation dog fight.

If we get the players linked and Ferguson signed back up we are looking at a squad like this personally it looks pretty good to me I'd hope with this lot we would be top half not fighting relegation

When you look at that it is concerning but on the other hand we haven't released/lost many players we have a squad who are used to playing together and if all the AU Media interviews are to be believed are very close and fight for each other, I'm glad we haven't ripped the heart out of the squad ( no pun intended )

Just looked at the squad our average age is just under 23 and we only have Moffat, Bell, Geggan, Adams, Higgans and Kerr 30 or over does that concern any one that we lack a bit of experience (that figure includes the players moved up from the youth squad and the potential signings of Ferguson, McRorie and Harvie)

The boy ecrepont does not look like a 16 year old wonder if we will see him in the first team this season.

Who cares why Dumbarton didn't go back in for him, they are a part time club in a lower league I'm sure the lad wants to stay in full time football for dare I say it a bigger club!

Harvie would be the signing you would want we seem to gave a good history with players with aberdeen connections so that may be a factor maybe Rose could take him under his wing.

McDaid was being linked with Preston last season now he's going to dunfermline??? to be honest I'd be really disappointed if he left us for another championship club but we have players who can play right mid and let's not forget as well as he did last season there was plenty of times McCall hooked him at half time because he was rotten, I'd love love McGuffie to kick on and make that position his there's a player on the level of Conway at least if he believes in himself.
