    Something like this not work?

All clubs put up 1,000 tickets for away fans minmimum.
    - if by x date they aren’t sold or the away club agree then it can be reduced and given to home fans

    - clubs are free to negotiate more

If we want to protect away fans then clubs will have to accept they can’t sell 1,000 season tickets.

Mind you, it probably won’t be a problem once the novelty/European places disappear…

    Far too sensible

Long since past the time for proper away allocation rules like they have down south. 590 tickets is a ridiculous allocation in a ground the size of Tynecastle. Football is so much better with away fans.

It’s wild how it’s become fashionable all of a sudden in Scotland since the great Sevco tantrum of a few years kicked it all off

Big, noisy away supports add to the occasion, it’s absolute piss that this has become a thing*

Its hearts prerogative and home fans should come first but we should always be getting at least 1200 tickets at Tynecastle out of common courtesy considering they get an 1800 section on every visit

*OF fans wanting 75% of grounds in Scotland don’t count. If you can’t see the difference please get well soon
