  1. This is what was in the minutes not quite what you are suggesting: Pitch – All clubs without hybrid pitches are suffering – even Celtic. From Ground-staff to Board they agree the pitch is not great. The last 2 season with European and Play off involvement along with games brought forward to accommodate winter world cup the pitch work had to be done in 4.5 weeks as opposed to 8 weeks. Last year £100K was spent on the match pitch and the two training pitches with £48K being spent on training pitch 2 which has had no issues. This season ends 27th May hopefully and stadium pitch work is timetabled to start on 29th May which will give the 8 weeks required. There are only 2 contractors do this work for all clubs in Scotland so if you are not ready on timeslot they go elsewhere.
  2. Firstly heartfelt sympathy on the loss of your Chairman. Can anyone please provide me with the following information: Season 2021-22 Season Ticket Holders total. The Friday night football for a fiver game v St Johnstone - why was it a FRiday night match and was it televised and rights sold anywhere? Thanks in advance.
  3. Tam from the statement made by club: The topics discussed from these meetings will be made available to all fans via the normal club channels shortly after each event.” Hopefully this will ensure that those that cannot attend due to distance or other commitments are kept in the loop of what these meetings are about. It also suggests that the old method of famous five or secret seven being the only fans that knew what happened at such meetings is a thing of the past.
  4. That is a pity but it is a week come Monday........you still away then?
  5. Agree but if the players do not want to go out on loan or are advised by their agents to stay put there is not much the club can do about it. Silly really, you would think the players would want to play football rather than sit in the stands!!
  6. Perhaps it was Montrose that sent him back as opposed to Saints recalling him!!!
  7. What!!!! Stevie May has ambition to earn international caps????
  8. Gio had to be punted after Perth Saints beat them 2 - 1. Imagine losing goals to a Singer and a Hairdresser!!!!
  9. Did his father during his playing days conduct his own deals and never had an agent?
  10. Despite being Bookies favourite Davidson could not even win the sack race.
  11. Wonder how many of Davidson's signings have Alan Preston or the agency he works for as their agent.
  12. Livingston reported to have placed a bid for him 2 days ago. Would we pay a fee??
  13. Add on to Random's manager comment prediction: He will make Parish look good and the support will see why I renewed Elliot's contract.
  14. Maloney to Burnley as assistant and Kevin Thomson incoming to Dens or could it be Tommy Wright??
  15. We could have lost him last year to Rotherham but Stevie Brown would not let him go cheap. Well done Chairman for giving us another year of the Bellshill Cafu.
  16. Mclean up front ..........to prove to the strikers that if they played like he told them we would score goals. Team scores 24 league goals hardly justifies having him as a forward coach especially if rumours he falls out with players is true.
  17. Oh Dear (sigh)!! Crawford was a loan deal due to expire and therefore his long term contract for 2.5 years was planned and he was targeted to sign in January window. Yet again trying the old Random wiggle out of what you said by now bringing ages into your argument. For clarity if your comment had been nice to see the club giving 23/25 year olds long term deals rather than players in their 30's who have done nothing on a 6 month loan it would have made sense and not contradicted your previous post.
  18. Random Guy to day you are spouting forth about the virtues of planned long term deals thus: The players coming in on long deals have clearly been planned for and targeted before the window opened. That increases your chance of making good signings IMO. Yesterday you posted your displeasure at Crawfords length of deal thus: It honestly needs justified. Not just signing him permanently but handing him such a long contract. Just an all round horrendous bit of business. One is the exact opposite of the other so cannot both be correct but no doubt at a later date you will tell us you were correct.
  19. is it the above or your post of yesterday: Gold Members 54.4k All ends herald new beginnings... My Team : St.Johnstone Posted yesterday at 13:44 Any comments from him on the signing statement? It honestly needs justified. Not just signing him permanently but handing him such a long contract. Just an all round horrendous bit of business. You seem to be covering all the angles so that you can say you were correct!!!
