Good night for Glens to break their duck with first home league win of the season. It was backs to the wall for a lot o the game but we dug in and defended well. Oor defence has been poor all season but they were much better tonight and with a cutting edge like shuggie up front we look a bit better. Might still get out of this relegation fight yet

Been mostly dry in NC all day, pitch will be fine for tonight. As has been mentioned previously it's no a pitch that silky soccer can be played on but what I've seen of both teams this season I don't think the pitch will be the deciding factor

Thoroughly deserved win for the Glens today, couple of new players in and a few back from injury/suspension gave us a much better performance than the last month. Game would have been all over by half time had we took our chances, just glad it didn't cost us. The royal hotel proprietor will can rest easy, they'll be no gangbanging in Cumnock the nite 2 more huge games now, Arthurlie on Tuesday and Medda next weekend. If we can keep that standard up we might still have a wee chance
