  1. St Pat's 8 out 8 is some going. No Scottish distraction after Christmas too so they'll be looking to get points on board & put a big gap between them & chasing pack. Good 3 points for Greenock yesterday and Southside seem to continue their inconsistent form since their manager left,a good 3 points after a heavy defeat last week.
  2. Bannockburn Colville should be a great game. I'll go for a draw. I see a trip to Oban will be part of the Central Scottish calendar as of next season. Never been there, only heard good things though. I look forward to going at some point.
  3. I see on Twitter the Bridgewater manager has moved on. Scottish semi last year, now asked to step down...?
  4. Good start for select team,2-1 win v Kilsyth Rangers.
  5. I think this sounds good in theory but thinking about the logistics of just the west region, how would teams feel with potentially extremely long travels every second week? I'm thinking things like Greenock to Lanarkshire, Stirling to Ayrshire etc etc. I know there are teams who do that, but that's because they choose to do so & have joined a league where this happens. Many teams & boys much prefer to play locally. Forcing teams into large regions could in actual fact force more teams to fold.
  6. Good away win for Harestanes yesterday. After a shocking result on the first day they seem to have found a bit of form. Good luck to all CSAFL teams in the Scottish next week.
  7. Bannockburn Colville off. With the weather this week surely an agreement could have been made to switch the game & even play at Dalziel & play Colville at home to Bannockburn in league.
  8. Anything to report today from the Central Scottish? Colville & St Pat's continue their good start. Gartcosh into semi of league cup. Good to see a first division team in the mix in the league cup.
  9. Doesn't look like many fixtures are scheduled for this week. September weekend causing this? Some teams seem to have taken a fixture, some not. Those that haven't will no doubt moan about fixture pile up come the light nights next year
  10. Probably about time the league had it's own thread for chat, scores & banter. I watched Harestanes v Drum today. Decent game & Hares deserved winners. Other reports...?
  11. Carr doesn't look anywhere near the level he was at last season. Wonder if the move away from Oakland announced over the summer has had an influence on them as s team, they have been poor.
  12. McAdoo should go from the Giants. He must. 4 straight defeats for them is a disgrace.
  13. No idea where the 80 points came from. That'll be one of the highest scoring games of the season probably. Unbelievable!! Into the next one eh...
  14. Is this just a football betting thread? I like the LA Rams v San Fran 49ers to be under the points handicap tonight. I'm seeing it at 40.5. IMO the value is going under at 10/11.
  15. Absolutely When it comes to a sport in a foreign country I'll support the team there or thereabouts the top of the order. Keeps me interested along with a wee flutter on a Sunday evening too
  16. I like a lot of the team and have merch from a good few of them. As a Scot watching a foreign sport I find it a bit strange when people are massive fans of say, Barcelona, Madrid, or in this case The Giants or The Packers etc etc. I follow whoever catches my eye. At the moment it is Matt Ryan and the Falcons, who are by far and away the best team (offence) to watch at the moment, and for me that's as far as it goes. So to answer the question, why do I follow who I follow, the answer is, whoever takes my fancy at that particular time.
  17. Least it got up to place in time. I use Betfair exchange for place betting regularly,I like that. Bit frustrating if your selection actually wins right enough. I've got a wee interest on Celtic & Man Utd tonight. Popped into Hills after work - offer on screen was for Celtic & Utd to score 2+ goals, have 1+ yellow cards & 6+ corners. 25/1. Thought there was a bit of value in that. We'll see...
  18. It was 3rd of 11 runners at 8/1. Not brilliant, but a tenner e/w returned £26. The bigger the stake, the bigger the profit. What do they say..... Profit's Profit.
  19. Heard on TalkSport this morning that High Hopes for David Simcock should run well at Yarmouth this afternoon, 350. Alan Brazil and Simon Clare from Coral were saying there had been a bit of a gamble on it. Interesting.
