I hope your right because watched I watched last night was a poor lot of players. If some of these have been scouted then we have to get some new scouts. Some of the players looked so unfit and if they have never played 11 a side football before. No pace at all in the team until as I said earlier the younger guys came on at rb,lb and centre midfield. Nobody wanted to take their time it was hot potato football. The goalkeeper was diabolical, the KB was caught out if position so many times, the right mid was an imposter of a footballer. Nobody was talking at all. Hears hoping when we play teams at out own level they can adjust to league 2 football if not we are in for a very long hard season.

The keeper was absolutely shocking. Jambo had no support in midfield, the 2 guys that played beside home were slow on the uptake. The boy at right midfield(11) was one if the worst players on the night hence why he got taken off after 30 mins. Thought we only took part in the game in the last 20 mins when Ali miller and the other going guy in midfield came on. The only player to put a tackle in all night was the young guy who replaced magee, who was shocking and did not look interested.

Are these games open to supporters to come along ? I don't see why not.

Wee need someone who knows were the goal is not a couple of runners. I runner and a goalscorer but I don't think either are good enough.

Totally agree about Fotheringham a passenger in almost every game. But I would imagine it would be him and McKernon in the middle. Quite a lot of new players are hopefully forward thinking players. Don't get the Ruth boy no better then average. Take it rangers have decided against signing him after taking him on end of season jaunt.

Squad Update. Players staying at present Millen, Nimmo, Magee. Gerry, Foy, Gibson, Summers, Fotheringham, MacPherson and Mortimer. Couple of new goalkeepers. Not everyone at present season has signed I believe some are training with the view of signing. Our defence is what let us down last year and they have all stayed bar Burns. Will be good enough for League 2 if Gus can get a good balance and a reliable goalkeeper.

Anyone got any news of players coming in. All I am hearing is players going out although still to be officially confirmed by the club. Gone are Brady, Galt, Donnelly, Docherty, Orr, McVey. Loans finished Kenna,Gullan and Leitch although he has been released by St Mirren. Still there at the moment. White, Millen, Foy, Cummins, Nimmo, McClaughlin, Burns, Gibson, Summers, Fotheringham, Mortimer, McPherson. Young's guys Magee, Ruth, Miller. Although Ruth was on trial with Rangers. Anyone heard anything about anyone else leaving. This is a hard season for Gus he has to totally rebuild our squad to ensure we are competitive. Lot of work to do between now and pre season. Only one I have heard is a possible return if McKernon.
