  1. "Jinky" Hilton always raises a chuckle. Similar to "The Bully Wee".
  2. Dumbarton v Spartans. Phil and Grant Mitchell fighting for the love of and adulation of Peggy. Both shown the door and told to sling their ook.
  3. Outrageous. STAND DOWN nae mare players required.
  4. The most insecure man in Scottish football doesn't like it when not going his way. Only way to react to this setback is GET MARE PLAYERS IN!
  5. Ebbo seems like an absolute throbber.
  6. I for one will be shocked to see Ehbroath return to their natural level next season. Who would have thought it?
  7. Bonnyrigg 2-0 East Fife Clyde 0-2 Dumbarton Elgin 0-2 Stenhousemuir Forfar 1-2 Peterhead Stranraer 2-1 Spartans
  8. That was utterly pathetic from Parry. If there was a fish supper on the goal line he would have been there in a flash. Looks in awful shape.
  9. No one should be attacked with weapons I completely agree. I never justified that part that's the act of a coward. I'm merely stating it takes two to tango and there will have been wallopers on both sides as shown by the need to use golf clubs and throwing objects on the park. Both could have devastating consequences. I don't dislike Clyde as a club so certainly no clouding of judgement. I pity them if anything and really want them to beat EK in the play off.
  10. Frustration at conceding goals has no justification for throwing objects at players though does it? That surely doesn't happen every week? If that's normal behaviour I think people should question if football is for them. If anyone really believes someone has loaded his van in the morning to take to the football to purposely attack Clyde fans then I question their sanity. There's clearly been an edge to the day/game and there will be blame on both sides let's not kid on all Clyde fans have turned up and behaved impeccably on the day after being on the swally for 5-6 hours pre game. Let's live in the real world lads.
  11. Also let's not begin to pretend a section of the Clyde support will be the victim in all of this. You don't just get set about with golf clubs for being shrinking violets and minding yer Ps and Qs. You can clearly see some of them absolutely out their skull when that Stranraer first goal goes in and something being thrown towards the Stranraer players which is particularly scumbag behaviour.
  12. I assume from that you are a child so will cut you some slack. I do hope you pump EK in the play off tbf if that's any consolation as they are a horrible little outfit. You will fully deserve that for supporting your team.
  13. You deserve absolutely no more or less than any other football fan that travels the length of the country every season supporting their team. It's what football fans chose to do I can't ever get my head round fantasy entitlement that football fans deserve something for doing what they want and choose to do. It's a daft mindset.
  14. Par for the course in such a powder keg fixture like Stranraer v Clyde.
  15. Surely McCall should be under more scrutiny from the fans than he is? He really strikes me as a fossil who's completely past it. That team selection for Clyde today doesn't make a kick of sense. Surely can't go to the bother of improving on the muck that was there before and then benching Kabia, Leitch and McGinn? Where was the keeper? He's been well backed, more than any other manager in the league in January, and is showing no signs of having a clue what he's doing in my opinion.
  16. I forgot about the officials. Absolutely atrocious for both teams. All three officials completely out of their depth and no understanding of the game. It really does get worse every week to the point you can only laugh about it.
  17. Both injured. Bucky will be back next week and Ross probably the week after I believe. Good point for us today in the end considering the other results and that was probably the correct result. We were well on top in the second half without creating enough chances to justify the three points. Our fitness really showed in that second half I felt we ran over the top of their midfield but unfortunately our flair players just weren't on it today as they usually are. East Fife were similar in the first half they probably had the better of it without creating enough. Really lovely goal with the slide rule pass and finish by Austin. A real moment of quality but from there on Austin just wanted to act like a big fanny which was to the detriment of his team. Pushing the head into Bilham among 3 or 4 embarrassing dives he was lucky to still be on the park by the end. Meechan and Jamieson were first class today, Meechs deserves a lot of praise since he's came back into the team he's been a real leader for us. Kinlay Bilham had another solid afternoon but further forward we just didn't click. Aitken baffled away all day to his credit but we just couldn't get enough bodies or quality in and around him. 12 games to go. We keep pushing.
  18. Sorry, this is a serious message board and we should have some standards surely? OK a ban is maybe a little harsh but I would think a very stern warning is necessary here for putting this in the wrong section of the forum AND the teams also the wrong way round.
  19. Bucky for me. I would go as far to say he will be the best signing in our history if we go on now and do the inevitable. I can't remember a bad game he has had apart from that mad 20 minutes against Dumbarton. He's just such a good defender, reads the game well, can play a bit and is a huge threat from set plays. I think he's the glue that sticks it altogether. Nicky Jamieson was already a good player but for me he's went to another level playing next to Bucky. Even without Nicky in these last two games Bucky has stood up and been absolutely outstanding in both games with a slightly weaker defence. So many quality, consistent performers though hence our league position so it's hard to single out any one person as our main strength is that togetherness and will to win as a group.
  20. Dumbarton 2-1 Forfar East Fife 0-2 Stenhousemuir Stranraer 1-0 Clyde The Spartans 2-1 Elgin
  21. I am glad this will be the last time I give these cowboys £18 to enter their shack for a couple of years. It could be longer if you look at the trajectory of both clubs, East Fife strike me as a club sleep walking into the Lowland League in the near future unless they properly gut the club. I am looking forward to this one. The champions elect, for the first time this season, will have a fully fit 19 man squad to choose from. Nat, Nicky, Matty and Ross to start for me but whoever takes the field will have to be at it as we have some real quality waiting in the wings if they aren't. I'll go 2-0 Wawaz. A double from Matty Yates and a 4 yard pearler from Matty Aitken.
  22. I can see now why the "ULTRAS" had to attack the travelling mob with fences. They look proper fucking mental. Particularly that auld dear in the bunnet.
  23. The Bully Wee still have time on their side but the main problem is as much as they have improved so have the other dross that they want to catch. Elgin and Forfar seem to be picking up a bit at the worst possible time for The Bully Wee. It's difficult to go on a run in this league, apart from us obviously, where the teams are all much of a muchness. The Bully Wee need to put two or three together on the spin sometime soon but pretty much every team is scrapping for something and although player pool has drastically improved at Clyde it still looks a mid table team on paper, which might not be enough to get the desired results and up to 9th.
