  1. Krispy Kreme is a brand that hasn’t translated well over here. In the states their donuts are no bad, if i was passing id maybe stop in if theyre hot. But i’ve been to some amazing donut places that pish all over KK, Gibsons in Memphis, Round Rock Donuts in Texas and just generally find local places are better. there’s even a wee place in the west end of Glasgow called Tantrum and yes their donuts arent the cheapest but are pretty good!
  2. It seems ‘journalism’ these days is stalk people on twitter and report on viral pish.
  3. Heres my point and its been my point from the start of all this and its suddenly coming true. Leave set out that they would seek single market membership but leave the EU as we ‘need to take back control’. Remain said well given we actually have a veto we have control and you’ll never get into the Single market without keeping the EU regs and laws you rail against. So whats happened... well leave politicians are now saying ‘we’ll accept EU regulations, rule of ECHR/ECJ, allow free movement of people, continue to give you money and in return we’ll get single market membership and all we’ve had to give up is the control that the leave camp said we’d be taking back. We’ve gone from having an equal say in the EU to having all the perceived ‘negatives’ and none of the actual positives like say in the shaping of regulations, laws and representation in the ECJ. Win for us eh?
  4. What an absolute fanny you are. So delighted to sing your songs about terrorists. No wonder you’re such a laughing stock on this site.
  5. I couldnt fucking believe Jeff Ross was there! I really enjoyed him! Chris Rock was great but agree its typical name a local shit hole and everyone loses their mind. I dont understand people who go to comedy shows or the cinema and talk through it. I hated the fact people were milling in and out during the show with no apologies etc comedy crowds are generally shite.
  6. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-42810724 I think its pretty shameful, but then again I also think the way i’ve seen women on hen nights groping guys and similar is also disgusting.
  7. The old firm has absolutely destroyed Scottish football with their pish we’d all be better off if they fucked off to the Atlantic league and dragged their knuckles into the deep briney sea. The very thought of pandering to these whompercunts just so they can play some 18 year old french gambian child superstar they’ve got or whatever is in absolutey no way beneficial to ‘the scottish national team’. Why don’t Rangers and Celtic merge? if we’re going along ‘proven business practices’ or whatever utter wankspeak the proposal suggests then surely the prudent business case would be for the ugly sisters to merge to consolidate their efforts, save money, that would be good for the national team!
  8. One automatic relegation and two league play off into the Lowland league and out of it is no where near suitable for a 16 team league.
  9. Rangers Bvs Dumbarton - 389 their second lowest crowd of the season, Dumbarton Vs Connahs quay nomads- 491 There we have it a part time team from wales who brought no travelling fans was a bigger draw to Dumbarton’s gate than an Old Firm B team. Also can we please fucking stop calling them ‘colt’ teams it makes me shudder its cringey AF.
  10. You certainly did study it more recently than me. I suppose though, there should be an offence for making threats of violence etc (yes I know theres common law threats but with the move towards statutory law that seems to be the done thing). I think it would make the police seem really redundant if they couldn’t arrest someone for shouting and swearing at them (serious threats I mean not just a random ‘f**k off ya cnuts type thing) where a BOP might not be appropriate, it’d look quite silly for the rozzers to just walk away from that. I’d need to read case law and the like to form a complete opinion on it and tbh I really don’t want to.
  11. I think it is there largely for domestic abuse type situations, where the partner is threatened with violence, I suppose it gives the police the right to be the alarmed people on behalf of victims to ensure cases get to court maybe? Im guessing this due to sec 39 of that act being about Stalking etc.
  12. I think you might actually be right on this. As a reaction to Trump and to capture the BLM and Me too type support I think we will see a black female candidate to take on Trump in 2020, I suppose its all about if Oprah wants it, but I wouldnt be surprised to see Kamal Harris the junior Senator from California consider a run, she’s 14:1 on Paddy Power just now. I think her experience as a prosecutor might help win the soft republican type votes.
  13. section 38 Criminal Justice and Licensing Scotland act doesnt need the person to be present. Im not sure exactly about BOP but tbf i’ve not done any criminal law stuff since uni. .
  14. Bottom one is Miller Street Dumbarton, formerly Boghead park. Named Miller street as the farm that Boghead sat on was owned by the Miller family.
  15. The reasonable person test now also forms part of the new working definition for a BOP also now.
  16. Went to the butchers for a walk the other day on my lunch, just had a mince round.
  17. What do you buy in Mcdonalds that costs over £5? 2 double cheeseburgers and a drink is about £3.
  18. Can i ask, largely because I dont have time to read 1000 posts, how do they propose relegation would work in SFPL 2? Would the colt teams be relegated into the LL? Say 3 colt teams finish in the bottom three and Clyde finish 4th bottom, its in no way fair to say to them they have to go down etc. The only fair way to do this would be start a WOSL with the likes of Colt teams, Glasgow Uni, Girvan, Clydebank and Others, give a direct entry for EOSL and WOSL/SOSL clubs into the lowland league say 2 relegation spots and 2 promotion spots (1 direct 1 play off) from spfl2. This is the only way the proposal would be even slightly acceptable to me.
  19. Completely agree, we should be offering degrees taught in Mandarin etc anything to encourage more students from abroad to come here not discourage it, our universities are an asset that will long outlive oil should we run them properly!
  20. I think those saying ‘it targets football fans’ miss the point, im sure if there was disorder in other sports amongst fans at the same level there would be an offensive behaviour at carpet bowls act.
  21. Tbf the way they go on about a ‘pyramid’ being a bad thing they sound exactly like illuminati conspiracy theorists.
