I recall conducting my immediate post-season reconnaissance in this forum in May and seeing a quite bewildering take from one of their fans (who must've gone particularly hard on the baths salts that day) which elicited a bit of a belly laugh from myself. The chap seemed to inexplicably believe that keeping together the squad which hauled them to a *checks notes* ninth place finish in the 2020-21 Ladbrokes would result in a promotion charge this season. Perhaps I'm blinkered somewhat by my dislike of the club but I do think they'll have a torrid campaign this year.
Tl;dr - I am a fan of nine of the sides in this division and will be running with an ABC policy week-to-weekGet some therapy mate. Seriously.

It is indeed. Looked good in attack but we gave the ball away way too often in bad positions today. God only knows what Todd was thinking when he gave away the penalty. He was mince today. Don't really understand Bollan's reluctance to put on any subs when it was clear as day that players were flagging in the heat.

Dearie me. The Pollock equaliser was a cluster f**k between Mango & the new keeper. I note that the friendlies are over and the cup games are now going to start. Does anybody know when any new signings are likely. Only 1 trialist listed on the bench for the Pollock game. Btw Pollock ground looks decent.

Mullen is a good right back but I'm not sure Kyle, for all his long service, is an effective player any more. Seems to run around a lot these days without actually doing anything.

I think we need to have an adult conversation about Gary Bollan. I have made no secret of the fact that I have now lost confidence in him as the manager and that we have made little progress. I know we finished nominally in the top 5 last year but we were on the slide, looked less than convincing, and if things had continued to the end were by no means guaranteed to remain in the playoff places. I am certain that Donald will have set Gary the challenging expectation that we would be at the very least in the playoff race yet we will finish 2nd bottom and were starting to sweat. The Board have supported the manger as much as they can by bringing in players. I think I can safely say, given the comments by other compadres, that given the players we have, we should be in a much more comfortable, nay challenging position. Has Bollan taken the team as far as he can ? Should we play safe and hope that his brand of football keeps us in the division for another dreary year or should we try and bring in a fresh face with new ideas ?

Well that's 90-odd minutes of my life I'll never get back. Utter pish. As much as I hate to say it, if we get through this season we need to look elsewhere than Bollan. He is not doing it for me any longer.

Bottom of the league with that squad. Utterly unacceptable. An early decison to replace the management team must be made.
