I just think the lot of us are reading into everything too much he might rate Sammut there might be a perfectly reasonable reason but the end of the day no matter what you do there's a reason why he picks the team he picks we might not know it we might question it but i dare say if we were to speak to him and ask him why it would make sense. He sees them day in day out, he will know what he has to work with and who needs to improve and what needs to improve its just everyone is expecting an immediate wins we have no divine right to win every game and poor refereeing decisions are going to happen, if Harrisons goal had stood and we drew or went onto win it would be Caley thistle on meltdown instead of us we wouldn't be on a meltdown questioning team selection and who is sh*t and who should be played where. Its fine to have concerns but the level of meltdown /over reaction is a bit OTT.

The lads are 19 yrs old they are here as part of their development as a player the next step up for them is playing against grown men instead of U20s etc , they just need time to adjust to the difference in playing against seasoned pros or in the championship case Journeymen..lol. I really despair 1 game in and between writing the season off wanting players punted/manager sacked etc you couldnt make it up its almost as depressing as an episode of Eastenders

I do use it mainly to keep in touch with some former workmates for other jobs which come up now and again but its getting more like FB (another load of sh*te).

Just to put things into a bit of perspective here we have effectively had since middle of Jun with players arriving up until the start of the season given we had the basis of the team there minus 3 arriving 2 weeks prior to season kick off so basically not saying all of the team but in 720 minutes of playing together they should beready , what was it 2009 was the last time we won an opening day game.

Houston got about 6 games before folk started calling for his head the reaction on here after 1 game is unbelievable

Lot of people seem to have insider knowledge of squad budgets , reason why academy was cut, mass fall outs of manager and players Never seen so much drama about 1 yes 1 league defeat 1 game into the season

Since when was the league decided in August after 1 game ?. If the same thing is happening after 6 games in then it might and i mean might be a bit concerning but its one game you would think the world was just about to end.

No offence but so far you have hartley fall out with players even when they have been in touch with supporters to say they have been injured so unless you have concrete evidence that hartley has fell out with anyone or your calling said player with the exception of McKee, Harris and Sheps aka yourself what do you suggest he does names every player we have on the team sheet to prove there is no fall outs, but with your constant droning on about all things hatred of Hartley and his so called constant falling outs you may feel at home here where you can join like minded people of moaning about all things Falkirk. http://www.onef.co.uk Its the 1st game of the season and already your calling for hartleys head we have had 15 new players we have effectively played what 7 or 8 games together or at least 11 of them have barring the later signings some players are still trying to get match fit Haber and Rees for 2 of them. as for the fallings out 2 of them were were apparently disruptive given the fact those 2 are approaching the end of their footballing careers and progressing to the next obvious level i.e. coaching or management and given the clubs previous stance of giving unproven managers a chance there were a few rumours going about at the time of Houston sacking or prior 2 it the end of the day you have only those players word. Taiwo still started a good few games prior to being released and as for Loy his issues off the field may have contributed to any fall outs so what you have basically done is add 2 and 2 and probably came up with 5

Can we establish that anything pro Hartley or indeed positive about the club will be deemed upsetting to Edibairn and that Sheps is indeed a cracking player and has been shoddily treated by FFC and indeed PH and that when/if he leaves we will all be completely astounded by the teams clambering for his signature.

I got to admit if i didn't know any better and i don't Edibairn is either Sheps or someone who really really hates Hartley or quite possibly both. It would take a failure of epic proportions for us to f**k the league up as much as last season, mid table or better for us i reckon which is still an improvement on last season, though i do think someone that has been touted as a favourite to win the league is going to do a Falkirk and be in the relegation zone most of the season (Dundee Utd possibly).

Its the new ruling on the reserve league if a player is loaned out to another club he can still feature for his parent club reserves, t he only problem i have with it is if he is injured playing in a Hearts reserve game its Falkirk that dip out especially if we are doing well in the league and he is playing well for us. It would be different if he was injured in league duty for us.

TBF his stats at Edinburgh City arent too bad its a start level and from there can progress maybe he could step up in the future but at the moment at FFC as far as Strikers goes he's a passenger. In the pre season games last year from what i seen positionally he is poor and i think thats where the difference between him and O hara is Sheps choses the poor positions where as far as positioning goes O Hara is a step up its just is finishing that lets him down (John Baird Mk 2 but without the scoring record)

I dont think anyone is expecting him to rip up his contract he would need to be a looney to do that if he wants out his contract to move then the club enter negotiations with hims and come to a suitable fee that both parties are happy with i dont see the issue. Just some folk think he should do the honourable thing and walk away no one in there right mind would.

Sorry bud but your saying Hartley is a professional football Manager, Sheps is a Professional football player so whats your argument Even when you look at Careers Sheps 62 appearances and 2 goals Hartleys 47 appearances for accies and 11 goals and that was playing as a midfielder and not a striker. Going for first clubs on that one by the way

No one's abused him, the only comment has been not good enough for championship level, jees if you rewind a year i spent near 2 months defending Harris on here before being resigned to being proven wrong. The end of the day there is probably a player in there no one wants anyone to fail although Edibairn your criticism of Hartley is probably as bad as some of the criticism of Sheps and Harris in not being good enough so you cant have it both ways you want people to lay off Sheps and Harris yet are happy to criticise Hartley at any opportunity and even stating he will be gone by November in one post am sure.

He must have done alright at Berwick for Hearts to recall him in January and put him in the first team and forgot about the rule changes loaned players can still play for the reserves at their parent club, so no doubt we will be hoping he doesn't get injured in a Hearts reserve game
