Before the VAR system came in, some people thought it would level things up with Celtic and Rangers getting found out with all the unfair decisions that they arebon the end of season after season. None of these people seemed to realise it would be the same referees looking at the TV screens. Two incidents on Saturday summed this up. The high boot by Goldson in the lead up to Livi's first goal could have been missed by the on field officials, but someone having the time to watch various angles and still not giving a foul is outrageous. Similar scenario at Pittodrie with Johnson's push on Gartenmann in the box at 1-0 impossible to miss watching it back.

Tbf, its not only Celtic and Rangers that benefit from unfair decisions.

    Whilst matters are cordial..................

I've only ever been to the area of Dundee where the football grounds are.

I've often wondered what the rest of it was like and if it would be a decent place to spend a weekend with the other half.

Given the improvements over the past couple of decades, there must be lots of decent hotels, bars and restaurants.

Go on Dee fans, wax lyrical about your city.

I've recently been working in and about Dundee. Nice enough place and the people all seem decent and down to earth.

Bits of it remind of Liverpool- hilly streets sloping down towards a large river and where the Discovery ship is moored.

How? It was called as a foul by Collum IIRC. St Mirren player gets the shot off and collides with the Hibs player once the ball is flying far, far out of having any immediate relevance to that passage of play

It said handball on the screens at the game.
