I think it’s going to be tough for Aberdeen to finish third from here.
Not so sure, only 2pts in it.

Played well today but just never got the breaks.
Play like that in the run in to the split, we'll be fine.

If we don't concede in the first 10 minutes and keep 11 players on the park, then we might have a chance.
Heehaw to lose, attack, attack, attack attack attack.

Before the VAR system came in, some people thought it would level things up with Celtic and Rangers getting found out with all the unfair decisions that they arebon the end of season after season. None of these people seemed to realise it would be the same referees looking at the TV screens. Two incidents on Saturday summed this up. The high boot by Goldson in the lead up to Livi's first goal could have been missed by the on field officials, but someone having the time to watch various angles and still not giving a foul is outrageous. Similar scenario at Pittodrie with Johnson's push on Gartenmann in the box at 1-0 impossible to miss watching it back.
Tbf, its not only Celtic and Rangers that benefit from unfair decisions.

Dundee are certainly not shite I will go as far and say they will beat us on Wednesday.
Bold statement coming from you.
Anyway, I'll be in Stobswell in about an hour if any Utility are about wanting knocked out.

Whilst matters are cordial..................
I've only ever been to the area of Dundee where the football grounds are.
I've often wondered what the rest of it was like and if it would be a decent place to spend a weekend with the other half.
Given the improvements over the past couple of decades, there must be lots of decent hotels, bars and restaurants.
Go on Dee fans, wax lyrical about your city.
I've recently been working in and about Dundee. Nice enough place and the people all seem decent and down to earth.
Bits of it remind of Liverpool- hilly streets sloping down towards a large river and where the Discovery ship is moored.

How? It was called as a foul by Collum IIRC. St Mirren player gets the shot off and collides with the Hibs player once the ball is flying far, far out of having any immediate relevance to that passage of play
It said handball on the screens at the game.

Fingers crossed we get Baccus back before the cup game
I wouldn't be surprised if we see a late bid coming in for him before the window shuts.

Rodgers blaming his own pitch now.
Dearie me.
The Rangers win 1-0 in the early kick off and their manager blames our pitch.
The Celtic win 1-0 and their manager blames the pitch.

Given the weather we've had this month, its no surprise the pitch wasn't at its best.
This though wasn't the reason that the game was close.

No chance supposedly. About 15 clubs interested in him. If he ends up in Scotland it would probably be with Dundee given the partnership they have with Burnley.

He once said that his most hated stadium to play at is Dens Park.
He won't play though, he'll either be injured or sitting on the bench.

I reckon at least 80% of referees in this country grow up supporting one of the 2 arse cheeks. Surely this will have a bearing on decisions, even the subtle ones.

Thought Elvis looked ok when he came on. Showed some nice touches and effort considering the scoreline and level of opposition.

The thing that has helped us recently is taking points off our closest rivals for the top 6. The wins against Dundee, Hibs and to a lesser extent Aberdeen have really helped put us in a strong position.
Now to cement another very positive season, we have games against the current bottom 3 coming up. I'll take that.
