A few points on the game today :
1. We were by some distance the better side.
2. Was surprised by the away support today. For an unstoppable force and best side in decades I expected better. Kilmarnock brought nearly twice as many fans.
3. The fouling from St Mirren was incessant. The moment any of our players stepped over the half way line they were cynically and brutally taken out. Surprised only 5 yellow cards for the hatchet men.
4. St Mirren celebrated like they had won the league at FT = tinpot outfit.
5. Their fans gloating as if they had beaten Barcelona instead of little old Motherwell.
Enjoy your night buddies but normal service will be resumed soon enough when Robinson buggers off and you run out of money. You have the better of us in one season in literal decades (see point 5 above).

Kettlewell? What a fcuking loser.
Couldn't agree more.
Thoroughly enjoyed that today. Nothing quite beats 3 points away from home when you've not been at your best.
Oh aye, and the league table looks not too shabby.
Get it up the referee also- i think he had some accumulator on today that consisted of Saints players getting booked. He had a fecking shocker.

The other thing that sticks in my mind in addition to the pain, is the echoey "ping" noise they made when you kicked them.
Add me to the list of people who still have scars/weird marks caused by ash pitches!
It did make a sweet sound if you connected perfectly with a volley.

Most of Conor's caps have been from the bench. After tonight, I think he'll be one of the first names in the starting 11.
The only thing that was missing from his performance was a goal. Didn't deserve to be on the losing side.

I’m a bit worried that Aberdeen are also going to be looking for a new manager shortly….
After the last manager they poached from us, i cant see them going down that road again.

No VAR to bail the sheep out this week. Lovely stuff.

Good to see st Mirren fans have finally found a support group in livi fans in this thread.
Hopefully this will make them feel a bit more content across the forum.
I think its probably because Livi don't have ideas above their station, unlike the " famous ".
I'm hopeful of a Hibs win today just to see the full blown meltdown that will ensue.

Beginning to wish Robbo had signed his mystery striker.
Should we now look to start Stav
Olusanya, Greive and Mandron have all played their part in the league campaign so far. We can now add Stav to that list also.
No need for another striker as far as i can see.

The football is different every week to be fair, against teams where we think we've got the better quality we bring it down and play some good stuff. He can overthink it but going full Brexitball is required sometimes, take it as a compliment, I'd say, to St Mirren
Fair enough. Today i thought you played to your strengths- you had 4 or 5 players that looked easily over 6ft 4 , so it was no surprise that much of the game was played in the air. At times i thought we struggled with it.

I would find it really difficult watching Martindale's style of football every week.
Obviously hypothetical, but would be a big no for me.

Week 2 - St Mirren
Week 3 - Hamilton

I thought we deserved the point all things considered. We had two really good chances first half from headers that Baccus should have buried and Kiltie brought out a decent save.
2nd half i thought we were poor for large spells, but to come away with a point shows how far we've come as a team.
Still unbeaten in the league and top after 4 games- not too shabby.

Can I just make Ross County’s annual thanks, praise be and hallelujah to Alan Stubbs? Even if St Mirren got a development fee, Stubbs’ inability to judge a player just earned Ross County north of a million quid for a £25,000 outlay on Ross Stewart.
Admittedly the English transfer market is completely FUBAR, but still. Not a great decision by numpty Stubbs.
Tbf, this poor decision was just the tip of the iceberg.

I totally agree with you. I've no idea what all the fuss was about.
But still far better than any of Aberdeen's current crop of midfielders.
Ewe lot are bothered.
