  1. I'm most disappointed that wallet and watch didn't follow on from this. Cakes (You just reminded me there is a box of Mr Kipling's French Fancies in the cupboard. )
  2. Zany. The zany hair clique. Surely? Brilliant! Your mates must love having you around. You're full of stories like that.
  3. Look, just take the hat off and leave it at home next time. If you hadn't worn it in the first place then Gaz wouldn't have put it in the PTTGOYN thread and we'd have had none of this!
  4. My petty thing that just got on my nerves is this post! I typed it last night and I'm sure I clicked "add reply". Apparently not as I've just opened my laptop and found the post still sat here, not submitted! Have it anyway... I'm trying to whittle down the stuff that's in my house. I'm making headway in the loft - have got rid of absolutely tons of crap that was just being kept either for the sake of it or because it was out of sight up there so I didn't notice it. Anyway, tonight I came to several boxes of small baby clothes. Thought I'd go through them and see what I can get rid of. Now I remember how much I liked most of the stuff they had as babies and I can't bring myself to get rid of it! I did ok last night with the 2-3 years age bracket but tonight's was up to 12 months. Too hard! It's only two boxes when all's said and done. I'll keep them a while longer and then try again (to get rid of them, that is!). Sounds like you need to defrost your freezer and start again!
  5. No way!? I wouldn't have had you down as the wallpaper hanging kind of guy! Watch out - she's got you on the verge of being all domesticated.
  6. If it'd been a choice between having the extra room by adding the conservatory or having nice smooth paintable walls, I'd have gone short on space!!! I have enough trouble trying to get a border straight and there's usually blood, sweat and tears over that because I'm too much the perfectionist to accept that perhaps the walls just aren't straight and the damn thing won't look 100%. Whenever I decorate other people scarper, not wanting to be the one to light the very short fuse that emerges with the task. Wallpapering for me would just be a living hell! At that price, I should hope it flippin well IS nice! It'd be a real sod if you'd paid that and then one of you decided that actually that £3.99 roll would've looked better after all. Glad it's going well anyway. Out of interest, did you hang the paper yourself?
  7. I had all the walls in my house skimmed so thankfully I only ever need to paint and it looks just fine. Really, though? £16.99 a roll? Is she trying to break you? There's always one!
  8. Aye. She should have one of those bars of chocolate for breakfast. That would help her keep the weight down. Kickstart her metabolism for the day.
  9. grateful (as I am for my bedtime just now )
